I got them out. I wasn't using your skewer trick, so I couldn't pull up on them. I got it now! Thanks again!

Greetings Jevon.....The floats are attached to the top cover or air horn with hinge pins....If the Jets just spin, they might be the older style that press in with an "O" ring or something...Or, the threaded inserts cast into the float bowl are spinning (highly unlikely)...If you do have the threaded style of jets, then they only attach to the float bowl...Probably the gasket is bonded between the float bowl, and throttle body (throttle plate) Carb Number ?...so I can help you further, Thanks.

Congratulations Jevon....for DIY (Do-ing It Yourself)....What I used to do before I Invented/Discovered the Bamboo Skewer trick, was to use Needle-Nose Pliers, and grab the head of the jet/jets, and remove them that way....Because the jets are made out of "Brass", a Magnet is out of the question, as Brass happens to be "Anti-Magnetic!....Also, once the jets are totally loosened, another way to remove them, would be to turn the Float Bowl Up-side-down, being careful when they drop out!!!

I honestly had been intimidated while looking at my motorcycle carburetor...I’m handy but I need help, or damn good instructions.
By far the best series of videos I’ve seen for home techs...outstanding. I ordered a rebuild kit, new floats and with a few other videos as supplements I successfully rebuilt my thermoquad. These videos are gold...I can’t thank you enough

Thanks for posting these awesome videos! I'm disassembling my first TQ and the main jets just spin and won't back out. I'm thinking the threads are stripped. The float bowl won't separate from the throttle plate either. Do the floats hold them together at all, or can I "persuade" the float bowl to separate with the jets still in place?
