  • Francisca Ajiwung tells the story of how difficult life was for the women of Kenyari village who wanted to take their things to market before Oil Palm came to the area. For many years they had to walk many miles carrying their produce, coffee, and their babies in order to sell items in town. In contrast, after the Oil Palm came and there were roads and a closer market, but the school children still had to walk a long ways to school in 2014.
This story is told in both the Hagi dialect of the Kamasau language and in Tok Pisin. Subtitles are in Kamasau, Tok Pisin, and English.
