The inner child in me absolutely loved this episode. As a big scoobydoo fan you couldn't pick a more fitting show to have a crossover with. Love how they perfectly mixed all the Scoobydoo cliches with the Supernatural ones. You had the classic monster following scooby shaggy and castiel without them knowing. The theme song playing while they ran away and through all the doors etc. Also all the Supernatural elements and rules especially when they opened the trunk to show the weapons and the song played.
Every time I see Dean smash that T.V. I scream! I could have gotten that pen out in 3 minutes with nothing but a screwdriver. It's a true tragedy and not a loss spoken enough about on the show lol.
16:30 These teens have done way too much good for the world with the number of criminals they got in jail, including Batman villains! Great reaction, felt exactly like me when I first watched it.
This episode was being produced during season 12, and when season 12 was over everyone obviously thought Cas was dead until Jared (Sam) gave away in a convention that there was going to be a crossover episode and that Misha (Cas), Jensen (Dean), and him had so much fun recording lines together in the recording booth. Giving away to all of the fans in attendance, as well as all whose watch the videos of that convention that Cas would be back alive at some point during season 13. These boys can't keep any secrets 🤣🤣. It's also hilarious to watch the videos of behind the scenes of this episodes, seeing them together in the booth making up some of the lines is one of the best things ever.
it wasn't produced during season 12. Jared said we just finished recording Scoobynatural, Jensen, Misha, and I... and that spoiled Cas coming back. then Jensen tried to cover his mess. Season 12was finished when he said that.

Jared says in the clip which episode it was and they hadn't even started filming season 13 which means they recorded the lines during filming of season 12.

Normally I don’t watch the show but when I saw commercials for this episode before it aired, I felt nostalgic; watched a few episodes of original Scooby-Doo show when I was a kid. This episode was terrific! Like it was made for a variety of audiences including those who watch Scooby-Doo but not Supernatural

Such a fantastic episode. Teaming Castiel up with Shaggy and Scooby was so smart. They have referenced Scooby Doo throughout the entire show that it's so wonderful to see this crossover. This episode is near perfect in my opinion. They could have toned down the Dean going after Daphne, I found it more creepy than anything else.

They do work when it's Scooby-Doo Mystery Incorporated, darker than most of the variants but better writing.
