This has quickly become my favorite F1 channel.
❤️❤️💚💚
Absolutely, I have been here since 2k subs ..... the best channel on YT by a country mile, even better than the Race, one of the more established lables at present. Another excellent channel is LawVS. But this one is my GO-TO channel - inciteful, well balanced, excellent content that is fair to all and most of all, objective. My fav channel on YT at present.
@@F1Unchained Seriously, don't change a thing. Your insight into the history of the sport and the technical matters is wonderfully presented. You come across as knowledgeable and sincere. I imagine it's easy for newer fans to connect with your presentation style. Keep it up. I'm rooting for your success.

Time to get to real Race Tracks with History
Absolutely 😁
I'd argue Australia, has a Good history. Definitely not as much as Imola but definitely shouldn't be classed with the other races.
@@JETTAZZAAC That's debatable. The track itself has been used in some shape or form since the 1950s I think, but F1 wasn't there until 1996, 16 years after they first went to Imola
@@benben3409my man 96' was 28 years ago,at what point is it not established
@@ChutneyGames Imola also has more iconic moments, excluding 1994, than Australia
Lando winning is bold prediction. Max wont want anyone winning twice in a row, I expect his teeth to be out this weekend. But if Mclaren can bring that win it would be great for the championship.
I mean lando is fast here
Look at the past years
I'm praying for my boy Charles he needs this😅
Now that the chicane after Rivazza II is gone, Imola has become a track where overtaking is actually possible. The main straight is quite long so if you manage to stay close to the car ahead, you can definetely overtake
True
I've said it before but absolutely loving use of game footage to break down the corners and the track attributes! Keep killing it my man!
Heres to a 5 way fight for pole / race win this weekend.
perez and sainz can definitely fight for pole (if its not wet), but i dont think they will fight for the win
I’ve stopped watching most of my other F1 YT channels because they are a lot more speculation (and clickbait) than this one. You do a really good breakdown and analysis of each race weekend. Keep up the good work!
Thank you my friend 😁❤️
Great video and preview man. watched on the tv before bed last night. Lets go Charles!

Great video. Imola is such an old school track. Absolutely love it. Wish to go there one day. And I also hope the drivers pay their tributes to the late Aryton Senna and Roland Ratzenburger. Maybe a helmut design or a little icon for both drivers will be enough.
A lovely track and would love to my my respects
Pierre gasly has a senna tribute helmet hell be wearing at this race. Wouldn't surprise me if lewis busts out a surprise outta nowhere
Finally Imola! Best track in the world along with Spa, Nurburgring, Monza, Silverstone and Suzuka
Can't call a track top tier when it has 3 chicanes. It's good for certain cars, but not F1 and not super fast high DF cars.
Still, I'd remove 1 chicane at a minimum.
Brazil and COTA are favourites of mine in the Americas, and don't forget Le Mans if we're talking about non-f1 tracks! :)
Honestly deserves being there with the greats
@@Real28 Turn 1 chicane was introduced after Senna's crash. The track has 3 chicanes yes but they are all different in terms of speed, angle and distance. The track has it all: it's technical, it has gravel, low medium and high speed corners and a long DRS zone. The section that goes from Tosa to Acque minerali is one of the best in the whole calendar
@@Real28so you want more driver deaths???
Just rewatched the '96 race w/ the Alonzo/Schumi battle & I agree 100% some of the best racing I've ever seen. Those cars were so agile! Of course the sound was the best but damn those cars could turn on a dime
I wish Ferrari had kept the pr on these upgrades to a down low & just surprised everyone in P1.
All of this now really increases the pressure on delivering over the weekend.
True but better if they deliver
Great video with a lot of interesting information about the track. Personally I knew a lot of this info but I really do admire the quality of the information you gave and how insightful this video really was about Imola. I can't wait to see your weekend preview video once the upgrades get shown. Thanks for the great content 💪🏽
This comment makes me very happy because I love that you still enjoyed
lovely video!! you've quickly become one of my go-to f1 channels, love the more in-depth analysis. a bit surprised by the lando win prediction, even as a mclaren fan I'm still a bit scared to jump on the hype train just yet, but we'll see! hopefully your prediction comes true,, looking forward to the new videos this race week :)

Nando is soo good at this track.. even holding a fastest merc behind with a slow alpine.. and as per weather report theres some rain on thursday & sunday
If I may ask which year ? 😅
Never miss a F1Unchained video before the race. So much to learn and put into perspective.

love the history part of these videos, great addition!

From NZ as a default McLaren fan I’m stoked with your Papaya Optimism!
I think they’ll do well and possibly podium, but there’s been a fair bit of convergence lately between the Bulls, SF, and McLaren ..
Hoping for a good race.
It would be so cool if Lando and continue that momentum this weekend... Do you think Oscar will do better though as he'll now have the full spec upgrades - provided he can look after the tyres like in Miami. Thanks for the preview :)
If he can watch the tires then he can fight hard but it’s his first time at imola so will see
Oscar trained a lot in Imola i think with Alpine.
I remember watching this in 94. Don't forget Rubens almost died Friday. That's why Senna was so upset. And then Roland on Saturday. Still seems like yesterday
Hey have you heard about Sauber upgrade that will make them faster by like 20sec ?
*Its called the wheel gun upgrade* that will improve their pit stop by 20 sec 😅
The pitstop upgrade is so needed
@@ShirayukiRaito lmao
They went with the Seidle, James Key duo LOL. As a Mclaren fan I am so happy those two are gone.
People forget that Imola is one of Lando's best track. In 2021 he almost got pole if not for the track limit. In 2022 he was the only driver outside Red Bull , Ferrari , Mercedes to get a podium here. So watch out for Lando. I wouldn't be surprised if he got pole. I still think to see the full extent of any upgrade in this cycle of regulation you need at least 2-3 races
Keanu, you need to add a "whoa" when you show a spin or crash. 😂
LOL maybe
i hope for an exciting race
I do believe this track suits McLaren more. With potential cool weather amd possible rain it plays right into their hands. Will joseph, lando's race engineer said after miami that they haven't optimised their upgrades and that there is more to come from them in other circuits. I'm cautiously optimistic, maybe not a win but 2nd fastest team ahead of perez doesn't seem farfetched
Fair enough and good points
Great video as always
😁❤️❤️
Nice to see you call it by the real name and not the world salad f1 is trying to pass off as a GP name, and they removed the asphalt runoffs👌🏻
Let's go Ferrari
I need a LeClerc or Sainz win here!! Also, I see Piastri actually being on Podium. 1.LaC,2.Max, 3.Pia, 4.Sai, 5.Nor, 6. Per, 7. Ham,8. Geo, 9.Alo, 10. Tsu
Great video, for my top five I'm going to go 1.Max 2.Perez 3.Charles 4.Lando 5.Sainz
I can see this happening my friend
Another banger video!!! Very excited, it should be super interesting with all the upgrades. And especially since RedBull are grinding upgrades and how they will compare to Ferraris upgrades. Excited and let’s go Charles!! A 1-2 for Ferrari would be a dream for Imola 🙏
❤️❤️. A Ferrari 1-2 here would make the fans go ballistic
Ohhhhhh love the intro!
Another good video ❤
😁❤️
Awesome preview Miki. Hey did you see the crazy side of the floor on Max’s car? Some of the most bizarre and interesting shapes I’ve ever seen down there
It looks awesome my friend but they have had that since Japan :). I’m still waiting on the new floor pics

Ooh , big call for p1 . Would be good to see him back up the prev race 👍
Excellent Imola preview…especially of corner runoff mods and prediction of Lando win while wearing your McLaren jersey…LOL.
😁❤️
The weather right now seems to be good, it was predicted bad weather for this week but right now it's getting better. Hopefully so, since i will be at the circuit😅
Our predictions for the race: Max; Checo; Charles; Alonzo; Lando.
P3 to P6 could dramatically change as everyone else is, pretty much, on a level playing field. ha-ha
Alonso P4? I like your attitude 😅 let's pray he gets there
@@BayernSupremacy_ Give Fernando a competitive car & he will upset everyone's day, except Max. ha-ha
🙋🏼♀ Hope ure right that max damage wassnt why norris won,
would be great for the race fun.
Whilst another Lando win is likely, I think Charles is on for the win. That said, I wouldn't count out Oscar (especially now having the full upgrade package) or Carlos. Max will be in the mix, but Sergio isn't going to be.
Would love for a leclerc victory
Great video as always and good predictions. It's all opinions so I disagree quite a lot on the Lando p1 but it's fair enough I mean he did win the last race. Only thing with it is u having piastri 6th. Piastri was much more balanced and mature than Lando in a car that was 3 tenths slower and had the chance to win stripped away from him. Lando got lucky. I also think that McLaren just got the setup right whereas the others didn't cus of the sprint. Once again all opinions but I think Ferrari and Red Bull even without upgrades are ahead and with these new upgrades coming will propel them even further ahead. I originally fell into the trap of the hype from Ferrari upgrades thinking Leclerc would win but after I heard about Red Bull upgrades I've fallen back to a max win😂. I have max p1, Leclerc p2, sainz p3, checo p4, Lando p5, Oscar p6.
First a correction, Oscars car was supposedly 2 tenths slower. And if mclaren are the only ones who get the set up right with a completely new car and on a track that shouldn't suit their car, with no training at all, they have to be geniuses. Lando showed already in China that he is on max level with a not upgraded car. And the upgrade for mclaren was massive while from ferrari we only have talk yet.
@@thomas-wm4rz absolutely agree with what you are saying but Red Bull and Ferrari were struggling out there. I mean Leclerc had 0 free practice, yes it was his own fault but you can't setup a car properly without free practice. On Red Bulls side, I mean it was clear they were struggling. They went down the wrong direction with setup and couldn't save it. So yes this win is a huge credit to McLaren and the work they've done to understand that car in practice. I'd absolutely love to see them up there still but i guess we will have to wait and see what the other 2 teams bring. I still think that Red Bull would be fastest without upgrades and that McLaren may have just about jumped Ferrari. But once again these new upgrades will show us the new order.
Real truck with very history....
we are finally in Europe thank god! best tracks on the calendar
RIP Senna 🌷🪻🥀🌹
Always remembered
7:30 I say Redbull is still gonna be the best by a big margin
I don’t think so my friend
I think for Lando to win Oscar will need to be higher than 6th. Red Bull have updates, which tend to favour Max, and the only way to beat him will be with 2 drivers working together.
Don’t want to get ahead of anything but Lando is a demon at imola. Really hoping he can go back to back
Hmm. Thats quite interesting!
Go McLaren!!!! Let's hope he can take it back to back!
Would be quite the feature 😁
I think you meant “tragedy” instead of “travesty”? Great video!
I think Miami was a one off situation like Singapore for redbull. We have seen in the past where they mess up the setups during sprint weekend and that is what happened in Miami. We heard from throughout all the sessions that he was not comfortable with the car. We must not forget a race before in china he was gapping the whole grip with a sec a lap in race. Yes mclaren upgrades have brought them close but gaining that much pace and overtaking the redbull pace is technically not possible. We will see Max wining comfortably like he did in japan 23 after all the speculations from Singapore. So max p1, norris p2, leclerc p3
IMOLA!!!!!!! My pick for the winner at Imola is The Fans! Any time they race here we ALL win!
A great shout and completely true
On a normal Traditional racetrack coupled with a "normal" F1 weekend with 3 FP sesssions i would never bet against a 15 seconds Max win 🤷♂️. Street circuits were always a "problem" for redbull so yeah i would wait with jumping in that mclaren train. I think Ferrari and redbull are still a little bit infront of mclaren
Will have to see :)
Realistically speaking, as all teams will be able to achieve the best setup for the race day, the Rb tam will be head & shoulders above the rest of the pack. ha-ha ....... even if it rains on Sunday!!!!
Is it safe to say that Alonso (Aston) is in a class of their own??? The only mid team on the grid.
Absolutely but I hope these upgrades work
History seems to have also forgotten that Senna dated a 15 year old.
But it was legal though
@@Mrmrdad doesn’t change the fact it’s wrong and messed up. Weirdo is really defending this lmao
@@KungFuWizardOfJesus if it’s legal then it’s not wrong. But yes it’s weird

Great video, go McLaren!
😁❤️
lando hype train is insane dude
Kevin Magnussen on this track.. what can go wrong????
What do you think about Aston? Do you think they will be competitive?
Also in other news did the FIA really approve of a Chicago GP or is that all rumors???
Nothing is confirmed just yet
No more US tracks until they do right by Andretti
it's been confirmed that it's bs
I wonder what it will look like if it rains?🤔
Much different
I’m so ready for a Lando, Max battle every week.
And in 10th place will be nico, because nico goesssss brrr4rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
Whoa - Woking Repeat - bold!
Per-ez please. Not sure why you say his name like that? Like your videos though. Great job!
Lando hopium is stronk
Interesting top 5, super interested to see what happens, I still think Max will be p1.
Max could very well take the victory
And nico will be in 10th place, because nico is goesssss brrr4rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
Positions 6 to 10 predictions?
predicting Lando to get a second win in a row vs Max is insane... there is no way ... I mean let's not forget he only won because of the safety car picking up the wrong driver..
Finally!!!!!!!!
Let's Go Lando !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The Norris hype train is wild
Oscar for p2 with with max p1 Leclerc for p3 and Norris for p4 and Carlos for p5 and Perez into the gravel trap
Noris got lucky and now he is gonna win every race. We understood you
What
Imola is the best!
No offense:
Expecting Norris to win here is wishful thinking. Ferrari wasn't horribly far off McLaren in Miami and they're bringing more upgrades than McLaren are here. Not to mention, only Norris got the McLaren Miami upgrade yet Piastri was within an upgrade's performance behind. Also, Leclerc has beaten Sainz in every race this season with the possible exception of Japan, but has had a massive brake issue in Bahrian, was told to hold position behind Sainz while clearly significantly faster in Australia and set his time too early in qualifying in Japan
bro didn't even care putting Mercedes name in top 5
I don’t think they will finish in the top 5
@@F1Unchained its not even race day and already i can hear Dutch anthem
Miami was exciting? Have to disagree. It’s a classic example of “money talks”, because the track is mediocre at best. But I do very much enjoy your commentary, really fun channel to watch.
I can see why some people didn’t like it
Lando?! That's a stretch. He wouldn't even have won in Miami if not by the safety car.
It would be great if Lando could win again.
Don’t count out Oscar, he was much quicker than Perez in Miami and would’ve finished top 5 in that race
8:00 I’mma go out on a limb and say Mercedes is somehow gonna fall into this group
I hope so
If it rains then maybe
LOL at Lando beating Max on a traditional track. Calm down bud
I can’t fucking wait this race. Please God make McLaren to be fast like Miami. We will have 3 team race.
Oscar for the win
That would shock me
@@F1Unchained I think we're in for a suprise. Miami was his best race, on pure racecraft and race pace. Tyre deg could be solid to good for him
