REUNION ISLAND IS AN AFRICAN ISLAND -Today , another video ,to give you the opportunity to express yourself, to express everything you have deep in you, I mean "Reunion Island is an African Island",and I affirm it and this is a fact. Why is this a fact , because this is a geographical fact.Geographical situation of Reunion Island no longer needs to be demonstrated, it means that we are located in "Austral Africa"; any 5 years old child would watch a map will easyly locate "Reunion" in "Austral Africa". If Mauritius Island is considered to be an African Island by the "African Union" as part of the African island, so Reunion also Is. Today , we're gonna talk about facts which prove that the African culture is lively in Reunion Island .We cant dispute the Geographical location , now we're gona talk about Cultural facts. -First we can talk about the most popular music from Reunion: the MALOYA; which is a music with African Origines bringed by Mozambic & Madagascar descendants Deported on the Island. So the MALOYA . The word in Mozambic relate to Magic and all what relates to mysticism; in Madagascar, we overstand it as a way to (Dégoisser) to remove, to releave anguish due to submission under slavery . So all this ended on Reunion island bringed by our ancestors and after this it became popular. -The MALOYA is also the rythmic music of the Afro-Réunionese Martial Art which is the "MORINGUE", this are Africans who bring it , they knew it from their practice of the MORINGA from Mozambic and the MORINGUI from Madagascar , here this name became "MORINGUE", a Martial Art orientated more on legs & foot & this Martial Art helped our ancestors to break free from the yoke of slavery. -Those few facts show us the lively African culture on the island. But there's also some other facts , the fact that in 2009 the African Union summons the European Nation , requesting them to give more autonomy and independance for the African islands, in which were count : MAYOTTE, LA REUNION, LES CANARIES, places where Europe is installed , this is another Fact . - There's also Linguistic facts, because in our language we have blueprints of BANTOU Afrikan Language and language from Madagascar; I wont give exemples,as i want you to do your own research especially into the dictionnaries from the Late Gramoun "Daniel Honoré" (-Dictionnaire des expressions créoles-), He made an excellent work on this topic. I dont want to give it easyly, i want to encourage you to go to the studies for you to develop a perceptive mind; because I dont possess the "gospel truth",I just give some sources, so it's up to you to search & verify what I try to teach you as a professor.
