I adore how future games kept bowers new abilities canon, like his rolling into a shell ability and also growing giant and giving a logical explanation as to why and how he's able to do it
Seriously, if Alpha Dream doesn't get revived or Nintendo doesn't save this IP it would be such a waste. These games were the best use of the Mario universe.

Yeah, however i still prefer the DS version leveling up animation where mario and luigi dances and then when done setting up the stats they strike a pose, i'm currently playing the 3ds version 😁👍
The first was very mediocre and this one's awful lol
after nearly 10 years of playing this game i finally decided to do a 100% completion and after finishing the relief and joy that comes over you is the best part of the whole game

I love both versions of this game! I got the original version when it first came out and played the heck out of it in high school. I really like the enhanced graphics in the new version, the new music for some of the battles, and updated designs for some of the characters. I'm gonna miss Alpha Dream. I grew up with all their games since Mario and Luigi Superstar Saga in 2003. Big part of my childhood. Great play through too! The double screens don't look smushed in this video like they do in most of them!

just like paper mario they told them to stop making original characters after dream team which is why paper jam has no new original characters. After that they didn't know what to do so they just played it safe and released remakes since the series was pretty much over at that point.
Didn't help that the fans were whiny bitches that complained about stupid small things.

@@HMBITH.12 i call it that, not 100% sure if that's what it's officially called. But, in essence, when you use bowsers punch attack after a certain point in the game, he starts to dash forward every time he punches, granted it's not a great distance he dashes forward, but, it definitely speeds things up if your in a hurry and don't want to sit around waiting for bowser to drag his big butt around everywhere

I find it cool that the dark star finally got its own boss theme. When I played the original I was upset it still used the normal boss theme.

I'm playing through this game right now and really enjoying it. I don't want it to end. It's weird I can't tell when it's going to end. I've skimmed through this walk-through but not looked too much because I don't want spoilers but helpful to see how far along I am. I wish this game kept track of how long you've played like the first one.

This game really didn’t need a remake. Especially when the original version is playable on the same system
And also I feel like in the remake they made the enemies alot easier to beat than in the original.
the remake has some issues, which shows it was a hastily made game. And the 3ds is backward compatible with ds games.

Not gonna lie, the final boss in this game which is Dark Star Bowser has to be the best final boss I’ve ever seen in a Mario game next to King Olly from Paper Mario: The Origami King.

Some things can't change even if you wanted it to but I think this game can tell you about the serious things this guy wants to do to Bowser no matter how many times he's tried to take all 3 kingdoms.
My most fave, getting to play as Bowser was a highlight for me, but this game was one of the F'ING BEST.

I like seeing the cutscenes (especially the Giant Bowser ones) in full 3D (like the models and more animation and such). Sure, the static pictures and sprites were fine, as that was all they could do back then. This is how you do a remake right!
