I am a bit surprised that Major Arya and Mr Cheema make no reference at all to Shimla Treaty. This was signed by the release of 90,000 Pakistani soldiers and Pakistan had agreed to solve all issues bilaterally. Pakistan has not lived up to its commitment and raised this issue in all multilateral forums. By not honoring its signed treaty, Pakistan has killed respect for mutually signed agreements.
