Training cats takes a LOT of patience and you cannot train them by fear. Those cats are loved and well cared for, no need to worry about that! I train my 6 cats to do simple tricks so I appreciate the love and time that went into these acts. BRAVO!

I trained my cat. She can come & sit at my feet & SCREAM at me to give her a meal. She can also wake me in the middle of the night by smacking me in the face until I actually get up & get her..... more food! She's also very good at chasing 'her' American Staffy for entertainment. So technically she 'trained' us.

After almost 6 years my cats still jump on everything and steal my food and use me as a form of transport, training is perfect, It took them just a couple of days to make me do what they want
Cat has there own mind and interest they'll do what they want, training cats is the most difficult than other animals that's what animal trainers say. It took me almost a year to teach my stubborn personality cat Hand shake and high five like a dog 😁 and next I'm gonna teach her roll over and hopping, as you saw on the video the trainer has to praise the cat alot and they had to wait for the cats to get back in the game.

I you look carefully, you'll see every cat get a snack after each trick. Sometimes it's inside the barrel into which they jump, or on the platform that is their target. The film is carefully edited to remove most of these movements. I'm a cat lover, and know that cats will do anything for the right reward; you just have to find the ones that are very food motivated. I have a ginger tom cat, now very old - as a kitten, my house-mate easily trained him to high-five because he loves his food.
The cats got treats after every trick. Most dog acts I've seen on AGT don't get treats right after they do a trick. Like Hero for instance didn't get a treat the entire performance, but most likely after.

The close-ups are key to a performance like this ...with big screens on either side of a stage to enhance the action. It works on screen because of the close-ups. Training my Jack Russell took time and patience ...so much admiration for these ladies training cats who can not be trained with punishment period ...only reward, trust and love for their humans. BRAVO!!!
