Veryyy cool build! The car in the car wash is my favorite part. Not too fond of the lighting kit. Kind of a second thought. But this surely does not mean this set is bad, because it’s GREAT!! Love CaDa’s work. This She’ll gas station is amazing! 🤩
@@SheClicksBricks CADA Coffee Shop looks great when built - Did have some fragile areas and did not like the lighting system. But all in all a good set to display
Wow! This Shell set is much nicer than I realized from box art and unboxing video. I'll check out both Barweer and CaDA. I'm a very cautious consumer but strictly based on this trusted channel's recommendation I'm now curious. Thanks Stacey and Adrian.
It is a lot bigger than I expected! One think I really like about cada especially is their sets are really detailed and look very realistic despite being made of plastic bricks. I will defo need to buy this set eventually.
Thank you. I agree about the detailed look. I especially liked the gas pumps and the store area. ☺ I think you commented before about having experience with CaDA right? This was my 1st set. What is your favorite set from them.
@SheClicksBricks I have in the past yes you have a better memory than me lol. Cada do really great interiors so their buildings are always great in my opinion. My favourite one is the Japanese street set. It is 5 mini sets you can connect together but each one was about £20-25 . I would like to buy the London Underground and Buckingham Palace sets at some point also but there are too many great sets and not enough money lol.
Awesome. Thank you for the recommendation! One of our viewers @sandrawilson6540 just finished the London Underground Station and loved it as well. The Buckingham Palace looks just Wow!!! ❤
Follow-up: while I like it because it stands out, on further examination I think the car wash is too narrow for Lego cars (only for included car), the gas pumps too high up, and the roof over the gas pumps too high. The light wires not hidden also an issue. It looks great -- but, I'd wait till the next, more refined, version.
Hey! Of all the sets you’ve built, this is my least favourite. Not because it looks awful, it’s just not something I’d buy or need. I love how there’s nothing but pad-printing. The build looks really cool and is very close to my local Shell petrol station. I don’t have a LEGO city, nor do I have the room for one or the want for one. But, I can see this fitting into anyone’s city. I think seeing this reminds me of what LEGO need to be making. But, they’ve become a luxury brand and no longer focus on the core market. It’s all about 18+ Adult market and focus very much on nostalgia. Good review. Two thumbs up! 👍👍
Thank you Robin! 🥰 It it in my city for the time being but does not fit right in like the other sets. But it was a fun build and I honestly cant't say enough about the brick quality and of course the printed pieces. Looking forward to trying more CaDA in the future.
This is a nice looking set but does need a bit of tweaking. And great that it's a licensed set. Is this built on a 32x32 baseplate? If not, how many studs does it sit on? 😊
@SheClicksBricks This is definitely on my wish list. I'm just trying to think how I could tweak it to fit into my city (maybe using 1 and a half baseplates) but I'd probably be better to build it first and change it to suit like I've done with other sets. Thanks for showing it 🙂
@SheClicksBricks I love creating my own modulars using designs from other buildings. The designers making these sets are the talented ones and it fascinates me how they come up with new ideas and techniques. But buildings and layouts have to make sense to me and be functional even though they would seldom be played with, so I'm always looking for ways to improve or modify them to suit me and my ever-changing city 😆
That's Amazing and good for you. ❤ I don't take the time to try any type of Moc'ing but I do want to in the future. You are right about the talent of these designers. Just amazing some of the ideas they come up with. ☺
Thx for the review of this set. The only issue I really have with this set (and also the tube station entrance) is that they play really loose with scale. Like the gas pumps are way tool tall. The printed parts are really nice, which can easily be repurposed for a moc which is probably why I’ll end up buying it Anyway, thx for the review. ツ
I haven’t start putting mine together yet, but I did build quite a bit cada product before, some of the brick is a bit lose. But the build itself is fun
Good to see it built As a bunch of parts i.e. the shop, petrol pumps etc it looks great. The big problem is how close the pumps are to the shop. If I get this I'd need to push the pumps section back by at least 8 studs. Kinda feels like CaDa had a great set in the works here but for whatever reason just squished everything together rather than allowing more realistic spacing. .,,and yep, I absolutely hate the CaDa light string/metal wire thing they put in most sets. Like you, I'd just leave it out and install your own lighting components down the line.
I was very interested to see your perspective on this set! I'm a big CaDA fan, but this is probably a pass for me. The strange proportions of the car and carwash aren't doing it 😂 But other CaDA stuff is great! Their large technic vehicles are very very good. I recently built the Mazda RX-7 from their Master Series and wow. It was an excellent, excellent build. For now, CaDA is my favourite alt-brick brand!
Thank you for sharing. The brick quality is excellent for sure. I will pass along how much you enjoyed the Mazda RX-7 to hubby. He really enjoyed the Alpha Romeo. 🥰
I think I'm going to get this for the printed pieces and store, if nothing else. If I want the whole setup I'll add at least 16-stud base plates to separate the store and pumps, and/or orient the pumps to be parallel to the store. I'll also see if I can substitute bottom pump pieces to make them lower (can't do much about the over-sized pump handles but oh well).
Awesome. I love your ideas!!! 🥰 Not sure where you are located but it was shared with me by a viewer the minifigs do not come with the set in the US. As well, the smaller version is all stickers, so wanted to share.
It's a shame about how the lights are set out as the shop looks cool. Car wash and pumps look super and I do like their version of the mini-figs. As you say minus the lights it a fantastic set. Super 👻
Yes, was such a fun build and although some issues with the lights and the scale, itnis bery cool to have a replica of some Insee in my own neighborhood 🥰
It's a nice-looking build. I just don't think it fits with your city. I mean, every city needs a gas station, but it looks too modern for your cute city.
I enjoyed the video pleasantly, thanks for the review. Have a good day .❤
Thank you for the kind words and the support 🥰

I love the car wash too!! I honestly think they use these same lights for multiple sets. Lights are certainly not the selling point here. ☺
Looks great and a nice job on the build. I did the CADA coffee shop. Might try one of their supercars next. Awesome Video!
Awesome. Thank you. How was the coffee Shop? I have heard good things!

I agree. It looks out of scale to me also.
That said, It’s good to see another LEGO competitor that’s not cloning or recycling IP.
There is nothing wrong with waiting for something you really like and want ❤

Agree Sandra. This is 32×37, so even that is a bit awkward. But, fun to build non the less. 🥰

Oh wow. We will take a look into that. Thank you!!
