Your parents gave you a life worth living so it's very important to respect them for what they do. I have disrespected my dad for a few years now but now that I'm 22 I deeply regret all the bad words that have been projectiled to him. I have messed up big time and If I were to continue I believe my dad being the loving kind person who he is would never want to talk to me. Value every time with you're folks trust me you'll be more happier than feeling down. Words can affect people in more ways than you can imagine so make sure you think of what you want to say before you speak and think to yourself am I going to upset the person or make them feel joyful.

Forgiveness is like broccoli. I know it's good for me, but man is it something I've avoided. Why? Because forgiveness requires me to focus on the needs of the one who hurt me. Its a hard pill to swallow. However, no matter how bitter the medicine may taste, it still has healing properties. Forgiveness and love are the only things that heal and bring peace. To be honest, love and forgiveness are things I can only have with the help of Jesus Christ. Regardless of what you may believe, one thing is true. Love and forgiveness heals. God bless you; I hope you have an awesome day!

  • @OA2605

such a short video and such a great mssg. totally changed my way of looking at things in just 3mins. forgiveness is very crucial to grow in life. knowing how people are and how they have hurt us in the past, it doesn't make you a better person when you hurt them back. you do you, you be good to the people around you. you become the change, you forgive people, you move on. don't hold grudges against the people that ultimately matter to you, especially your family members. they might have a behavior that is quite hurtful to you, but you can't expect things to get better by being harsh on them. you can be the light that they finally see and guides them towards becoming a better person. even if not, you are already on the path of growing and becoming a better person, so that's a win-win situation.

Forgiveness is the foundation of a meaningful, deep, true relationship. To let go if somebody has hurt us and to say you're sorry if we have hurt somebody, and letting things go is what makes relationships profound, meaningful and deep...👏👏👏👏 (amazing words that everyone should learn)

Don't leave them alone...if they struggle in their old age , take them with you and your wife. Please understand this fact.

I used to say papa i am not going to become a brahmachari, I will marry soon I am just chantings Hare krishna mahamantra and working. Still he had a fear that I may become a brahmachari in ISKCON.. Now everyone in my family blaming to me for this incident including mother.. But I never used to do arguments with father, I always had tried to express the truth😥😥. It makes a big difference if you have an ingrained upbringing that your parents are to be placed on a pedestal, high above every misunderstanding, acrimony, ego or contempt. That high level of respect will allow no room for messing up your relationship with them, keeping it sacrosanct. Many traditional Indian families are blessed with that decorum and sanctity.

Num 1 foundation of our life is forgiveness 2nd our ego. Sometimes we doing wrong to other cz of our egos so how to handle our ego let our ego use our heart to feel wht is right direction of our life sometimes its hard to do this specially if our soul its hurt to much but dont let our ego to distry our inner peace always think n remember all wht we hv and always for get our egos using our forgiveness for our foundation off our peace n love creation for joy n happiness wht we want to be?? People said i dont hv ego but negativity hv always to me but for me i dont cre cz negativity always i use that to create my power for positivity of life i hv. Cz honestly people always think and say be positive but honestly 60 percent yes u r a positive mind but use that only at only a day months sometimes only hours but me all negative i hv i created to positive to challenge my mind that dont believe always in positive cz all positive only at only this time not for a longer tomorrow so be created my journey of hope and strong as i wanted to be n negativity to mk it positive n impossible to mk it posible love i always use hearts that i always i wanted to create and stronger that i use it to be for fulfill my life to be happy n stronger person that no one else cn do????? Ayyyy life philippian so hard but wht will u do. Embrace it instead u run again cz always god teasing u if u run again??? Sad but that's life u hv so be great n strong that's always they wanted to u so open ure heart mind and always believe to ure self. Creating hu u are not always run my self cz if u run again god always give u a test so?? I hope this is a last papa God.. pls tama naman na po? Change life change everything focus and be stronger philippian..

What had happened between him and his father was really unfortunate.... Still there are a few points, which worth pondering.... He says that he was not in talking terms with his father for a period of 2 years.... Since his father was an Parkinson's disease patient, he might not have experienced this time period of 2 years as lengthy as we normally do... Also he might not have experienced this incident as intensely as we do, because Parkinson's patients tends to forget things easily and quickly and they have no sense of time... .... So, they don't feel the emotional turmoil as intensely as we do.... Now, he said his father fell at his feet saying sorry and begging for forgiveness...... Now when you ignore somebody, who fell at your feet and asked for mercy, who was an Parkinsons disease patient and who happened to be your father, for whatever reasons, after sometime your conscience bothers you.....Why did I do that!??.. It is normal.... This feeling get all the more intense and overwhelming when the person passes away.... It is very much understandable... But when you make a philosophy out of it, propelled by such emotions, it would amount to a wrong perception of life... If you say sorry unnecessarily to a person just to make him happy or feel better, you allow the other to remain as nasty as he or she has been... You were right, when you said "You never know how long people are with you"... The opposite is what relevant for us... You never know, how long you are with these people, because you also are mortal... So when you are around, correct them, rectify them, guide them, whenever needed... This sorry business is not going help neither you nor them... Just to make someone feel better, if you are saying sorry, you are only catering their ego......Just see the irony... You don't want to remain with your own ego, but you want to protect somebody else's ego.... Correct them, let them also have a meaningful life.... Finally I have deep respect for your feeling towards your father....

I know I'm just 14, but my mother always says that no parent can hate their child. Please give him a little bit of space, he'll come back. He loves you more than dear life!

@@nikitaaparvatham5248 just like any other human. Parent are human too. There are parent who hate and dislike their children. People think "parent love you more than anything" that's not true for everyone. Just because they are parent doesn't mean they will love us.............

    I've a question..
How many times one can tolerate the misbehaves, the insults, and the very unfortunate crime he had done and is doing now also?
How much one have to forgive him ,while he is till doing the same misdeeds repeatedly?
Yes, I know very well that dads or parents always think good for their children......
But this doesn't happen every time!
So, just because of he is dad, how many times one child have to forgive his dad with those same mistakes while he is enjoying his misdeeds shamelessly for taking care of the relationship?

I've said some awful things to my dad and now I truly regret that, I'm now trying my best to make him happy and understand that I am a great son
