Only reason Console Ranked is better. As a console player myself, it hurts me to say that PC is better due to the variety and aesthetics, but console lobbies are easier and less cheaters.

I came back to the game after being gone for 2 years. had fun for a while but it seems like every 4 or 5 games, there's a cheater.
Same, I quit siege just before floares came out. Because console was too broken thanks to mnk and such.

It’s just bc it’s late season, boosting is rampant since a lot of people got the ranks they want so they don’t really want to play. The cheaters seem to pop up a lot more towards the end because a big amount of the ranked player base left after getting what rank they want. Early season everyone’s on grinding so its less noticeable
Casual is how I enjoy Siege.
Exactly my experience this season. It is either cheaters or the horrible matchmaking, but without changing anything about my game, people asked me how much I paid for my account - and rightfully so! I was just getting stomped, it showed in my stats and I could do nothing about it. Extremely frustrating :-(
matchmaking is dogwater, im a career high plat player in ranked 1.0 and now i have champs in EVERY GAME
the worst part is they’re ranked 2.0 champs and diamonds that are barely better at me gunskill wise but they have no brains whatsoever
I play ranked on console and its only because people actually try to play the game. If you play unranked or quick matches its basically just team deathmatch or people just trolling

I hear this a lot. Curious if it's actual bronze players against actual champs. Or just visible ranks. Hidden MMR is what matters for matchmaking, not your visible ranks
@@VarsityGaming I just wish theyd show SOMETHING about hidden MMR😂 My 2 friends and I are definitely all different skill levels. None of us are even close to champ skill but we see the visible champ ranks in maybe 1/4-5 games (which I think is a decent amount because were just getting slammed those games.) My friend is bronze, im a plat and one friend a gold 😂
@@VarsityGaming It's definitely not even. The movement and aim of quite a few bronze players is ridiculous to be had on that level.
@@VarsityGamingi came back after not playing for 5 seasons, and had 2 guys brand new to the game playing their first ranked match with me, i never had a ranked placement and my casual was gold. However, we went against Emerald 1s nearly every match for our first 6 matches

Being gold always but this season stuck at the bottom of silver has really demoralized my drive to play ranked and consequently the game. I just don’t understand how that happens, it makes me feel significantly worse at the game for no reason, like a punishment for continuing to play every season. Really frustrating stuff lately
I've been Plat since like Operation Health and since Ranked 2.0 I haven't gotten further than Bronze lol
Is it normal to fixate on a bunker push when ever the enemy team is doing so much to stop it like that?
I just gotta say eu servers have so much less cheaters . Obv theres more subtle ones but you don’t face against them nearly as much

To be honest I feel like console is the way to play ranked. With mnk being mostly fixed it makes things fair now but comms are a big issue so a five stack is necessary but the new ranked system still exists I guess

What servers is this happening on? I've been playing the entire season with my mates (2-5 parties) and we had no cheaters, 2 cancelled matches total
Its really sad to see so many cheaters on NA servers. You should try european servers sometime. I have not faced a cheater in any game since Y8 started. Take care!

Does anyone else feel like ranked 2.0 hasn't really had an affect on their rank? I think if I played long enough and had teammates capable of shooting at an enemy instead of a wall, I could probably get much higher than gold, but much like every seasons prior, I got to gold and get stuck in the loop of winning and losing only because I am forced to carry a team of six year olds.
Pretty much in the same boat here. Last season I jumped up to Emerald 2, but this season I'm stuck in mid Plat again cuz the enemy team gets Diamonds and champs meanwhile my team doesn't seem to know what a gun is. Overall, this new ranked system has not been enjoyable.
I know they said Ranked 2.0 was supposed to be a progression system, which I think is stupid, but it doesn't actually feel like that. It's more like, you get fast tracked to the rank you're supposed to be and then you just stay there forever.
Its bad because you have plats and even cracked gold suddenly champ with egos. They don't deserve it, but they just need to play games and the rank system does the rest.
@@toxicvold3164 I play games and still haven't gotten champ. It really has not changed much. This is the most I've played ranked as well just because I enjoy not having my teammates tk me for no reason.

@@toxicvold3164 I suck? Lmao. Yeah sure. It is totally not because half of the time 1 or 2 people leave during the ranked match and never come back and half the time my team is silver, low gold, or even copper and bronze and we are facing plats.
I do notice the issues on ranked but lately console ranked has been fun but xims are coming back 🤦♂️

Yo Varsity I get what you mean when you say you just want a normal match. Not many people understand that this is still a *video game* and that you can have fun instead of being rude or cheating. I also want a normal match where it's toe to toe with both teams giving it their all. There's always just that one person who ruins it for everyone.

Edit: atleast in a good ranked system.. I played siege 3 years ago and got plat back then. Not I'm kinda stuck in silver and loose joy before I realy even get to go higher in rank

On console it’s just MnK in literally every lobby.
As a console player feels like every other game there’s someone using mouse and keyboard it’s just not fun

Even on console theres still cheaters. They are harder to find, but they are annoying when found. Glad im not on computer, seems like hell lol.
Welcome to low rank siege. It seems everytime I logon Ubisoft has a message waiting for me letting me know they gave SR back to me because of cheaters in my matches. I started learning the game this season. I know strange a new player but I am and I got one game away from Gold and didnt win because of cheaters. I then went on a loss streak probably my mental after that. Ive learned a ton and gotten a lot better but the getting prefired in the corner with them having no knowlege seems oh so familiar. Its unfortunate because I really have enjoyed the game but I also feel like Silver ranks are way harder than they should be. Even if its not cheaters, I have chcked and sometimes I am playing plats and diamonds. Just doesnt seem fair. I don't get it. Im a brand new player and I play people way better than me.

I don’t understand why everyone says ranked 2.0 is so easy, at least on xbox it is not. it is not easy to grind to champ, putting in the matches will not get you there, you won’t hit champ if you lose a lot of games. I wouldn’t say it’s a joke, but maybe xbox is different
All platforms are the same. I've only won 3 of 16 matches the past week and I'm still up like 250 MMR. The amount of MMR I lose per match has not shifted at all. My amount gained went from 113 to 109 over 16 matches. So it's all about time played

Maybe it’s not easy for you but I got to champ this season with 60% win rate and 1.4 kd but I barely hit diamond with 0.9 kd in old ranked.

I got ranked against the same cheater 5 games in a row and every single game he had a new account with the same name but different numbers. Only won one out of 5 games... Very fun ... not.
Honesty, bring back the original ranked system. It was so much better. Also, Ubisoft better fix this cheater shit

i came back after not playing for at least 3 years i was a gold player before and i am plat now, but my opinion on this game has changed, its not as good as i remember ranked is not fun anymore even with a stack, not to mention that ranked 2.0 or whatever you wanna call it is fucking useless there is 0 matchmaking im in plat with gold teammates and facing emerald and champs and idk why ik im not that good because i get shit on every time by the better players

ranked doesnt suck. Ubi sucks. They are HORRIBLE for supprt. They NEVER care enough to stay on top of banning cheaters. The new ranked system is only rigged because you don't like facing people your skill level. "everyone can get champ now" yeah probably with a 5 stack carry yes. The second they go solo they will drop and drop fast. 2.0 is way fucking better because I dont drop a rank every single loss I take. You actually have a chance to stay in said rank or go higher. Everyone always complaining but never see whats actually good for the non pro content creator fiends that play siege.
The issue is what you like about it. There is no punishment for losing. You said yourself you like it because you can keep climbing. This causes rank inflation where people easily reach ranks they shouldn't. Thanks for seeing the problem with the system

What's the problem with playing against a bronze in a diamond 1 lobby? If he's 5 stacking you know itrs a 5v4. If he has the same skill as you and that's why hes there then you complain about having a challenge. This game has always been a pro first fuck casual game. The support team is terrible causing me to be reset. Am i complaining? no; because I can carry a 2.0 kd copper to silver. also @ me next time.
