Beautiful shop. Love the way the vertical box shelf with books and yard stuff works to hold in the rakes and shovels. A nice divider or short wall to contain it all.
Love the tour my BILLS brethren! Need to put one up on mine and just start showing the evolution of my 30x40 pole barn with 15’x15’ “ish”. wood shop slash 1970 Chevy truck work area a stall for the wofe to park in wonter amd a 15’x15’ shop office/bar/kitchen. Just needs a bathroom. Tough day today for the Bills in London.
So frustrating. Worried more about the depleted defense than the loss but it's a funny sport. Looking forward to the Sabres starting. Thanks for watching! Would love to see your shop!
I enjoy shop tours a great deal. One of the thing I look for though is a list of tools with place to buy like Amazon and also where to find items you point out. Having said that I realize this would be a lot of work for anyone to do so don't take this as big criticism. Nice well organized shop though.
Great tour, looking awesome. I’m with you on the 3M sanding pads, they’re junk compared to Festool IMHO, with or without a sanding pad attached. Not sure what other influencers are smoking…
You aren’t using the 3M sassing discs right if you’re having issues. I don’t like the mesh because they don’t last if you hit the sides or sand edges. But flat surfaces like cutting boards or table tops, they’re awesome and dust collection is incredible. I think you’re not using the interface pads. It’s stupid that the 3M discs don’t come with at least one
Yes--you are correct. I have since used the interface pads and they work just fine. However, a sanding disc requiring an interface pad isn't something I would recommend.
Hey, nice tour!! Well talked out and explaining what you like and why you like it. I just don't get the Festool fetish woodworkers have. I can't understand why spend SOOOO much money on these small tools. The combo of the sander and the vacuum purchase on Amazon is $1100!!!!!! That's a TON of money for a sander and shop vac. I jut don't get it. I don't want to dis on people about it. I TRULY am trying to understand, WHY? 🤷♂
I have liked Festool for the domino since it's really the only game in that realm, but the need to have Festool surprised me. They have some really dialed in tools but I don't think the premium price is worth it over other tools for half the price. There are some exceptions--I've really liked their dust extractor. My last purchase of a Bosch miter saw was between it and the Festool Kapex. So far I haven't regretted it, but maybe it's because I don't have it? I don't know.
thats a big one car garage
It was built in 1940. It's definitely oversized for one car but not for two. Thanks for watching.

Thanks! It's always tough finding that small amount of space to fit yard stuff and other household items in. Thanks for your support!

Happy to add it Andrew. I never want people to think I'm just trying to market, but I'm happy to help.
So what size shop is that I am getting a 16x20 portable garage soon haven't had a shop in 3 years can't wait to get mine started back up
It is 19 feet wide by 18 feet deep. Exciting for your new space!

Thanks for watching as always! Those damn pads ruined two of my sander hook and loop bottoms. I should have learned after the first one 🤣
I don’t think they are suppose to be used with hook and loop. Festool sells a pad protector that you are suppose to use with the 3M stuff.
@@vasconcelosm12345678 You are correct and they are still inferior IMHO.
