  • I tried to go back to their website to find some scent info on this one and it's not up currently. I get the feeling they change up their offerings and scents regularly.
At $20 for a 4oz. jar, this is the most expensive pomade I think I've ever tried. I may have tried one other in that bracket, but if I did, it was a while back and long before I started doing TH-cam reviews.
Check out all their products at: johnnyslicks.com.

Would you recommend buying the original one? Also how long does it last?

Original and Rugged are my two favorite scents by them, especially in their oil-based pomades. Definitely recommend. Very pleasant, masculine scent.
How long it lasts will depend on how much you use and how often. I don't know if it's because I''m using better quality pomades or because I don't do crazy-high pomps anymore, but I find I use a lot less than I used to use when I used old-school stuff like Murrays and Royal Crown. Plus, I have about 4 or 5 pomades I actively rotate through so it makes it even harder to gauge how long stuff is lasting. Grab some and try it. I know it's more expensive than other brands, but it's worth it. I usually keep some cheaper stuff (like Duke Cannon water-based) for days when I'm not getting all catted out and keep the more expensive ones (Like Johnny Slicks Black Label) for special occasions.

Can you show me how you do that Hairstyle step by step

Well, the first thing is to find a barber that knows how to cut one properly. Not many do. Take pictures from a variety of angles to show them what you want. Pinterest is a great source for this. I have a folder on there called Hair that has a ton of ideas. But just search Pompadour Hairstyles for Men and you'll get a bunch of hits. Once you have the cut, just watch my hair pomade videos and you can see how I comb it. Look at my earlier ones in particular. My pomp is much more low-key than it used to be. If you have questions, let me know.
