Very hard to overstate just how good Cap is at this extremely unique and strange job of doing color commentary on a dogfight that he's sometimes participating in. He's a natural pilot and a natural showman and I wish him a fast and full recovery.❤

I think everyone would find Thunderdome matches much easier (including for us spectators) if every plane on the Red team had a red paint jobs and blue for the Blues.

here's an idea for future thunderdome's.......have several Gepards or other AA that pilots who have been shot down can jump in to add to the mayhem....

I know the lads what to pick their own livery, but for the neutrals (i.e. viewers i.e. money stream), it would be nice if the Reds all have a red livery, and the Blues all have a blue livery.

Sunday Funday Idea.....twist on Thunderdome, but it's Jets *defendng* a target with guns ONLY, Warbirds attacking a GROUND target. Anyone can shoot anyone, but the game is over when the ground target is destroyed.....

so i saw a harrier out and about why wasn't it doing a VTOL to have the hire altitude? is it not moddled in DCS?
It is moddled, but you can't shoot anything when in vtol and you're a sitting duck target, so not a good idea.

Wow CAP what a bad start!!!
I know this one is older, but watched your satellite shooting one, I thought, the detail and realism of dcs, combined with the space aspects of ksp/ksp 2 would be amazing, don’t have dcs, but have high kerbal’s, first go at recreating in KSP 2, after making a fairly decent F-15 analog and a single big missile, using the Xs methalox tanks and then only centrally mounted Xs engine that has vectored thrust, I missed the satellite of mine by 42 and some change km, not bad for a target at 1107km orbit, and the very limited guidance in this game, at least as far as hitting moving targets as small as a satellite, with a runway launched, air breathing only fighter, I fired when my engines ran out of air to breathe and flammed out on me. A mix of poor/limited guidance, having to add in manual flight trying to hit a satellite going 1504 m/s with powered missile fired at 25km up after flame out and human reaction time/switching control points, means I missed, but only have Stability control and a hid point to steer at…the rest is manual, so given that, a 42 km miss is pretty good I think. I barely missed the collision point, by reacting too slowly, was a split second off on a maneuver, made me miss by 42 km, my missile now has a orbit of almost the 4th planet, haha. My F-15 analog has a 1.28 thrust to weight ratio, if I spend as much time in atmosphere accelerating I can fire at flame out, right before the airframe fails due to heat and I run out of fuel and air, if I time my launch correctly. I was about 950 m/s at launch of my missile, after flame out and reaction times, plus a clunky interface. Is like Mach 2.79…the missile low thrust, due to game limits on rocket engines. If I had good seekers, like DCS, woulda annihilated it first go. Oh how I wish DCS teamed up with KSP to make a mod/dlc. For weapons mainly, and seekers, but still let me make ridiculous things, like a pseudo F-15 and anti sat missile, with full orbital mechanics, that would be amazing as it’d let us test so many crazy things

How come folks were well outside the markers but not exploded?
The markers on the map are not the smoke markers for the exploding.
Helicopters use the towers as a ring, the planes get to the outer smokes.
