- Meet Bollywood Newcomers, Meezaan Jaffrey and Sharmin Segal, who are all set to make their debut in Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Bhushan Kumar's Malaal. While Meezaan is the son of actor Javed Jaffrey and the grandson of veteran comedian Jagdip, Sharmin Segal is the niece of filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali. In a candid interaction with GoodTimes' Puja Talwar, the two young actors Meezaan Jaffrey and Sharmin Segal talk about their love for acting, while spilling some beans from behind the scenes of Malaal.

The oldest son of actor Javed Jaffrey, Meezan is 24 years old - and is already set to make his bollywood debut in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's upcoming film, Malaal. This, however, isn't the first time Meezaan will be seen on-screen. The young actor was Ranveer Singh's body-double in Padmaavat. Meezaan, who had mostly kept away from the eyes of the media all these years, has suddenly become the talk of the town because of his first film, Malaal, and of course, his close friendship with Amitabh Bachchan's granddaughter Navya Naveli Nanda.

Sanjay Leela Bhansali's 'Malaal' may be the first time Sharmin Segal will be seen on screen, but the young actress has worked as Assistant Director for her uncle, Sanjay Leela Bhansali's earlier productions such as 'Mary Kom' and Bajirao Mastani. Trained in acting from Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute in New York, Sharmin will be seen paired opposite Meezaan Jaffrey in Malaal.
