Even if the rounds don’t explode on bodies, it still adds a bit of realism to the game. Haha just imagine standing in a room and sniper just barely misses you through a window and you hear that pop hit the wall behind you.

If these bullets were allowed to be used on the field, I think it will be best used for milism since it adds more realism to the game, and dude I agree these explosive bullets will make a airsoft match more realistic.
To be fair, hearing regular bb's hitting closeby also gives me the brown ghost. Doesn't need to be explosive ones perse :p
What these are good for
1) Shooting targets for cool effects.
That's literally it.
Hit the helmet, goggles, mesh mask, or magazine in their vest. Those bullets will sing a different story then.

Considering movie industry uses airsoft guns as props... Guess these could be used as extra flair. The little explosions make great marks for "CG bullet hole/ricochet here"

@Britishgamer666 Yes. Practical effects with a little CGI over it to fix unrealistic parts is far more realistic than all-CGI. An example is the dinosaurs in Jurassic Park, versus the dinosaurs in the new Jurassic World movies.

It's not all practical dinos with little CGI ... though there is a lot of practical effects, especially the dinosaur that stayed in most kids minds after seeing the movie, the T-Rex, was 100% CGI - a ground breaking achievement at the time. You can see documentaries about it. Same for the big ones (long neck, big as a house, can't remember their name) in the beginning as well as some flying ones. Only closeups where made with puppets and masks.

We had the same problem... 24 years ago (crap I am OLD!!!) with the BB paintballs. They never worked on people, but they DID work on the INSIDE of the guns! Yeah... Expensive times! Lol.

I think we have had enough exploding bb's already on our field. I'm certain these would banned even before presenting them. Few years ago some kid got new gun and used free bb's that come with the gun.. well quality of those was so shitty that those fragmented into tiny peaces when ever hit essentially anything and some poor guy happen to take burst into his mesh eye protection. BB's shattered into tiny peaces and went trough the mesh into his eyes. He did not lose his eye sight, but it took trip to hospital to remove them all.
Now add bit explosive material to that and you are wrecking peoples eyes... Dont use anything that will break the bb's and dont use shitty quality bb's that shatter.. Also mesh eye pro.. yeah just no.

you joke but military personnel in the US have a practice bullet (which leaves a mark) for training. Friends of mine who are in the military and have been shot by it say that its the closest thing to actually being shot that exists. Rounds are not lethal but leave massive bruising and can break skin to the point where you do NOT want to be shot by it. They are also as accurate as live ammo up to 500 yards.
My dad is in the military and it sucked they would do it for fun instead of air soft

i think it wont explode on human skin or clothing because it needs a hard surface to explode, but hitting someone on the face mask might be dangerous because it will surely explode on that.
Alzera Delacroix It doesn't necessarily need a hard surface, just needs a hard impact. Guns shooting at 500 fps could definitely spark on impact even on skin

They are not allowed anywhere in the UK to my knowledge. That being said, it’s seen several instances where they’ve actually broken mesh masks and goggles. There’s also the little caveat they can explode inside the gun and ruin it.
