1000 Ounces Of Gold And The Missing Maps

- I was given old maps from the original owners of my claims and I was seriously shocked when I read what they said. Another step closer to the goal every day of finding where the original gold rush miners of the 1860's left off to see if a fortune was left behind. I this episode we also finish setting up the trommel and fingers crossed we get to fire it up for the first time. We are working through the multitude of tasks that need to be accomplished to start a placer gold mine. We are working late into the wet season and fighting heavy rains and saturated ground making it very tough to work and do what we need to do, however being able to do any extra work at all through the winter is a blessing.

Soooooo Awsome! I bet my Grandfather had some old maps of the area! My uncle's useta take me dirtbiking up there and my grandfather told me a story once he hopped down into a creek on an old friends claim and showed my uncle's nuggets in 10 mins! He even put them back cause it wasn't his claim! Much respect 🙌 🙏

I was thinking a hose clamp to get it round enough to get the piece on, but the c clamp worked too. My hands are cold just watching you work. Great stuff Andy.

Andy, thank you for this great video. I was getting worried because it had been so long between vids but I understand it takes a lot to put them together. Those maps are awesome and I would be great them framed as they are just pure history, the true treasure maps. The chase is almost as fun as the finding of the gold, best of luck we will be watching!! My rocker box is slow, but it misses little, I can only dream of owning something that can move that much gravel. I'm working on a scaled down version of your trommel.

Use your trucks exhaust to heat the hose makes it more flexible. Gotta love the cold weather, spring can come any time now.
Looking good Andy! Cant wait to see some material go through the plant. Never been up north but im sure there are lots of little historical nuggets to keep ones intrest. I live in central California. You can find incredible artifacts, and history walking the canyons. Its just as good as finding gold! Keep up the good work

'Goosebumps' are so awesome (Frisson》 is something only a percent of people can experience and realize when it's happening for what reason. This story line and video gave me the goldbumps I call them I get them when I watch badass gold content. I listen to the radio more than I watch TV though so that I can have the effect more often as music really does it for me.

Those claim maps got me super excited and it doesn’t even have anything to do with me lol😄 Those are exactly like treasure maps. I can’t wait to see what that ground produces. Looks like a lotta work, but also a lotta fun. Exciting to see a mine being built from the ground up👍🙂

Dipping the ends of those 3 inch in boiling water for a min helps get those fittings in alot easier.
