As an old Crown driver who now drives Motorcoaches I always tell my boss of the "Glory Days" driving Crowns... You know, the standard stuff (*GRIN*) .. Doing burnouts in the gravel parking lot, all the crazy stuff they made me do at the bus rodeos at the Rose Bowl parking lot....So, he bought one in the Bay area and had me drive it to the yard in Kansas City (1800 miles +/-)! It's a 1990 78 Pass Crown (last of the round noses). Converted to a modern Cummins and auto tranny. I miss my Detroit 671 and stick shift! Now I gotta talk him into making it a crazy day tour coach! BTW if you know anyone who wants original seats let me know! I'm putting coach seats in it! You know the first rule of bus drivers anywhere is: One bored bus driver is bad!
