Enjoy your videos. Was fortunate to be accepted for a clinical trial for a PSMA - Pet scan here in British Columbia. My PSA continues to be elevated post TURP surgery (PSA of 20 or so) and the scan revealed activity in the prostate area, but not much else other than a thryroid nodule which will be biopsied in the next few weeks. Essentially been on Active Surveillance since late 2017, age 69.
Hi Mohamed, PSMA-617 is frequently bound to Lutetium which can be used to treat metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer. PSMA-1007 on the other hand is frequently labeled with the radioisotope F18, which is mainly used to diagnose prostate cancer lesions (but not to treat it). Hope this is clear.
