- On this episode, we put 4 participants' creativity and speed to the test! With only 10 minutes given, they are tasked to create a meal under $5 with Maggi Hot Mealz and present it aesthetically.

Yes without a doubt. Judging is based on given criteria but he decide to give the win because of a smile on the egg? The food from RA and Chuan didn’t make you smile meh? It certainly did.

They chose the wrong judge. LOL. The tom yam was deff the best looking 1. RA and Chuan used fresh ingredients and still took 10 minutes. Come on! They are the clear winners.

This is my 2nd time watching and I'm still shocked how ra and chuan lost although the presentation of their food looks nicer and more delicious and the fact that they used fresh ingredients 🥺😭
Personal view, I preferred the other team to win.

Wth I think that other team should win what the hell is wrong with ur judgement if u have to pay for it don't tell me u would pick the other 1 uh the other side use fresh chicken and prawn and ytf leh the other team leg use what Ham and preserved chicken yah lah the egg confirm nice lah but I would rather eat fresh chicken with no preservative that that. Then again ytf oso got preservatives hais I think is cost fauzi at the other team disappointed

Actually shldnt you give them all the same flavors? Like for example idk what jon the judge likes but i like curry but hate tom yam noodles so there might be bias there? Overall im on team ra and chuan😊like altho im abit seafood allergic i would take atas prawn over processed meat smiley. Its still cute tho:)

Tumbler Lai I am pretty sure that each of them had $5 per person to make their own meal(not $10). Hope this clears things up and I think $5 could pay for a decent student meal.

Taste wise Ra and Chuan should have probably won but I think considering most people's level of cooking capability/time needed Jon was probably taking into account whether people would want to go through all the trouble actually searching for the food + cooking the food whereas the winning team you just go 7/11 cut it and put in it which was way more convenient. Also I'm assuming the criteria for winning this was most likely just getting the highest score for each category so Jon probably had no say on who should win overall since the whole idea to winning was to hit the most categories. So please stop being rude and saying that "oh Jon dk how to judge" since there was no "overall category". The concept of this challenge was to make a convenient and tasty noodle dish not just the best tasting dish.
(Though I do agree that Ra and Chuan's cup noodles did look better :/ but it's up to opinions I guess)
