I once knitted my husband a lovely Aran cable jumper to keep him warm when he went to watch football. He wore it once! So I never knit him anything else again. Thankfully my daughters and Grand daughters like the occasional knit wear. I always feel better after listening to you x

I have been thinking along the same line since the coronation. Here in the US we don't quite get the whole ROYAL thing. But my Lord is the King of Kings, Lord of Lords ! I hope the royal family knows and undetstsnd that they too need to know him as Savior and Lord and will bow to Him! Thank you for your courage and faithfulness to serve Him. Your'e an inspiration.

Your husband’s sweater. Hmmm. Mine puts away what I make for him, even though he likes the colors. 😂 It’s his way of cherishing the item. I think it’s crazy. 😂 Anyway, I forget, but I believe your yarn is wool. That sweater can be over dyed with navy, if you want. You can talk to one of your local dyer friends and they might help you. Any color would work, you just have to think about what your current color would blend nicely with. I enjoy your Bible time at the end, too.

It amuses me people in the northern hemisphere knit ‘summer tees’-it’s so hot here in Australia I can even wear even a light linen weight at times! I barely wear anything knitted in the summer. I so feel you about your husband 🙄I’m a nurse work 12 hour nights I decided to knit him a colorwork hat from the starwars knitting book for his birthday in Jan ( he’s a bit of a nerd😁😁) I had to hide my knitting carve out a minute here and there when not working and he wasn’t around much stress if I could get it done ripped it out reknit etc etc to get the color work just right. On his birthday I presented it to him so excited it came out nearly perfect if I say so myself. He said hmmmm that’s cool kind of flat voice, and has never worn it 🤨never again!!! Ha! Love him to death but he’s not knit worthy

Hi Ruth, love watching your podcast - they make me smile!! I love your husband's sweater - it really is a georgous color. I think if you can get him to wear it and he gets a ton of compliments he will turn and love it too. You can also maybe dye it once it's done. maybe darken the color and he may like it better? Just a thought. And your blanket is just so pretty......omg I love the colors, suttle and so pretty! I first learned to crochet when I was a kid but I really love Knitting

I so feel you about your husband 🙄I’m a nurse work 12 hour nights I decided to knit him a colorwork hat from the starwars knitting book for his birthday in Jan ( he’s a bit of a nerd😁😁) I had to hide my knitting carve out a minute here and there when not working and he wasn’t around much stress if I could get it done ripped it out reknit etc etc to get the color work just right. On his birthday I presented it to him so excited it came out nearly perfect if I say so myself. He said hmmmm that’s cool kind of flat voice, and has never worn it 🤨never again!!! Ha! Love him to death but he’s not knit worthy
Lesson learned. Believe me.
