In the throes of homelessness and addiction, I found solace in Jesus. His love guided me away from the path of destruction, leading me to a life filled with purpose and joy. Today, I celebrate the incredible transformation from darkness to light, from despair to hope. Praise be to God!

Someone keeps posting about a "2nd Ecclesiastes" book which they say was included in the KJV in 1611, and I keep responding, but they keep deleting their comment every time I respond and posting a new comment. So I'll just post my response here instead:
    1. There is no book of "2nd Ecclesiastes" in the Apocrypha (the Deuterocanonical books). Perhaps you mean Ecclesiasticus (aka Sirach) and/or the Wisdom of Solomon. In any case, Protestants do not accept any of the books in the Apocrypha as canonical because Protestants do not believe any of the books in the Apocrypha are divinely inspired (theopneustos).
    2. Of course, Protestants don't have any issues with reading and learning from books in the Apocrypha. Just like one might read and learn from the Didache, the Shepherd of Hermas, the First Epistle of Clement, C.S. Lewis, or whatever else that's useful for Christians to read and learn from. Again, the central issue is Protestants don't believe these books are divinely inspired.
    3. Noting what used to be in the KJV is irrelevant to whether or not a book is divinely inspired. The people who wrote the KJV and who put it together were not infallible and the table of contents of the KJV is not infallible.
    4. It sounds like you need to better appreciate the history and transmission of the Bible. I'd recommend Scribes and Scripture: The Amazing Story of How We Got the Bible by John Meade and Peter Gurry. It's recent and up-to-date, it's scholarly but written for a popular audience, and it's simply a fun read.

Read the Bible from Genesis to Revelations, you will have it, however you have to ask the Creator for understanding before you read the holy scriptures. Don't forget to thank Him.

Dont read from genesis bro. Start in the new testament and read the gospels and learn about Jesus then you can read the rest of the new testament after the gospels, then go read the Old testament because then you will understand the prophecies of Jesus found in the old testament if you read the gospels first.
