- This talk is an attempt at identifying some of the issues regarding 2nd wave feminism. It starts with the problems in the philosophical underpinnings of feminism and goes on to outline some of the false historical and sociological narratives associated with the feminist ideology.
If the wage gap is real, then as an employer I would hire all women so I can pay them less and pocket the rest of the profit. It doesn't make sense.
the reason why the wage gap is lower is because women have children and they based on society look after their children. So therefore employers pay women less because of that risk that they could become pregnant at any point and they lose money because society deals with contracts and they would have to pay them even when they are not working because of EU regulations.
Feminist- "i want equality... but i also want special treatment"
this was extremely intresting, very good points made, all the things you mentioned were extremely true. espically regarding the power over motherhood and how this is used against men through divorces. it's sad that there are females who percieve motherhood responsibilies as being slaved, in reality it is actually a great power in it's self alowing a women be able to give life to another human life and share a bond with her child in such a way. allhumma barik :)

Feminism isn't complete egalitarianism anyways, since it seeks to bring down men in situations where they just happened to be advantaged.
The wage gap itself has been debunked for many reasons, that even my economics book in 9th grade has it as a misconception that the wage gap is not out of an employer's sexism, lol, just that women tend to take more holidays and maternity leaves. And it's a book from the UK. 😅
