In my opinion, I think it’s shugabush island. It’s actually based off of a real song, and you teleport monsters to there instead of buying them (you can actually buy them, but mammot costs diamonds unlike the natural islands) also, all of the monsters only breed with one monster (shugabush) which makes a bunch of different versions of the shugabush.
Two more things that make this island the weirdest: -There is only one 3-element monster, Pompom. The other islands usually have 4 monsters of 3 elements. Ethereal Workshop, Magical Nexus, Amber Island and Gold island have much more monsters of 3 elements and Ethereal Island, Seasonal Shanty, Mythical Island, Celestial Island and Wublin Island have none. But Shugabush Island is the ONLY one that has ONE. Very strange. - The other reason is that their seasonal, Viveine, has a breeding combination which is the same breeding combination of a monster already on the island (I don't remember which member of the shugafam this was, but the combination is Shugabush + Oaktopus). It is the only seasonal, or perhaps even the only monster, that has the same breeding combination as another monster on the island.
The reason why it’s so different is because not only is it completely different from any other island with new mechanics and experimenting sounds, but also because it has come out years after ethereal island which has given lots of time for the design philosophy to change and become more HD and detailed

I love the direction your going with this topic, but like most video essays, it needs more backup claims and evidence to support those claims than in this short 2 and half minute video. The monsters simply not looking the same (quality wise) as the other ethereal monsters is only a small and very trivial point to make for the island to be considered weird. I’m not disagreeing with you, the island is definitely unique and unorthodox compared to the other islands, but there’s other factors that make it that way rather than just the quality of style. There’s the unique composition of the music, and the unusual sound design, the trial and error mechanics, the overall layout of the roster, and the decontextualized order of the elements. There’s a lot more substance this video could’ve had, but I completely understand if this was meant to be more of a shower thought video and less of a full on video essay.
