A few months ago I discovered that the real secret of Niccolo Paganini is in one of his manuscripts. Heifetz knew this and shows it in all his video recordings. It's in full view of everyone and it's so simple it's scary. Thanks to this I was able to solve caprices in just days.
Lovely video, please in future videos the music in the background may be a little distracting since her voice volume is not very loud...it makes it difficult to hear her voice over the sound of the background music.
I Started this exercise right away. My left hand got cramped after 1min. I'll continue with this pizz exercise daily. Hopefully the cramping will stop happening.
Start by just plucking open strings with each finger for a few days or a week. Then, when you move to plucking stopped notes don't press the strings down all the way. Concentrate on teaching your hand the movement it needs to perform and practice this exercise very softly and slowly until your hand is used to it. Have patience, your hand needs time to get used to this.
@@vivolin6521 It's not the plucking that is causing it. It's the position my hand has to be in to have a string curved pinky. This causes the cramp. My pinky is way shorter that the 1st knuckle of the ring finger. The back of my hand has to be inverted, to get my pinky placed curved. This inversion causes cramping.
@@Creationhorse I see. You can help your hand by bringing your elbow over to the right more. That way your hand and fingers are more above the strings and the hard work is done by the large arm muscles.
It seemed like some were bothered and others not depending on the device you're listening on or the speakers. Maybe give it a try. Will keep it in mind for next videos.
@@violinlounge i’m afraid i agree. I could hardly hear the person speaking. I listen on different devices with and without headset and even tried streaming to the tv. I gave in after a few minutes each time. What a shame - no need for the music at all in my opinion … play it after the narration?
Sorry that you couldn't hear it well. What I've understood it can be a matter how the stereo is set up, so there's a chance that on a different device the voice is better to understand.
Completely and respectfully disagree. Position of the elbow and thumb position is enough to achieve comfortable and effortless stretch, without all the efforts you suggest. Look at Alexander Markov left hand and may be you'll change your mind

@@vivolin6521 Yes, I do that, probably excessively. Been playing 25 yrs. Just not built to play the violin, but I do anyhow. Love making music 😊
@@Creationhorse Very few people have the ideal body for the violin. As you have noticed with experience one learns to work with ones challenges.
We can't hear what you saying when music is plating in the background.
Thanks for the video. (It would be even better though, if you could stop the background music so we can listen to what she's saying)
One hour sleep. Why am I not napping?
Because Zlata has posted a video.
🥳 and a special one with Manu as voice over artist
Great to work on but I still have a hearing problem.😊
These exercises also help a lot with ear training ;)
the ongoing background music makes it hard to understand the lady speaking. sorry.
No shoulder rest, no chin rest, no tourte bow.
what is the name of the mentioned teacher? could not understand.... so sorry...
Vivien Hoffman is the lady teacher you see talking
@@violinlounge see but not hear 😉
I can't hear anyone speaking. Turn up the volume on the person speaking. And turn down the background music.

Me too. Can we just hear the speaker, so interesting
I can’t hear you; the music is too loud.
Could not hear a word over the background music. So I guess it's still a secret.

Turn the violin music DOWN or speak in your native language
