@@B_urdeNing I wonder if the corrosive ammo mod could be good? extra crit chance for the bow's already pretty high crit and the corrosive debuff could be some big numbers after buffing up a bunch of crit damage bonuses
@@MumzyTheGreat I have used corrosive ammo and momentum mutator on a AR-47 crit/infinite mod build. It was decent, but I don't know if a bow can sustain the momentum, but with supercharger and infinite corrosive ammo, it could be pretty strong.
As someone who loves bows as a weapon in any game I'm glad you brought up the "big number me happy" feeling. sure I could probably get the feeling from a sniper, but it's not the same. It was refreshing to see demonstrative gameplay at the beginning. It gets you hooked into the build in action right away rather than going straight into numbers. Have you tried out any of the builds with the cross bow instead? I haven't used it myself yet so I was wondering if you had experience with it.
The crescent moon was one of the earlier weapons I got (I specifically went after it when a friend told me bows were in the game) and it’s been my weapon of choice throughout the whole game up to the final boss and even post game. This video is exactly what people like me need 10/10
@@B_urdeNing my only question is energy diverter worth the ring and amulet slot? Like you said you’ll probably just get one shotted anyway so the ring doesn’t do much other than proc the amulet which tbf does a good bit. But wouldn’t we get more numbers out of running something like ankh of power along with another damage ring like say, stone of balance. Of burden of the gambler/destroyer? I’m mainly just curious as to why energy diverter is your favorite in build 3
@@dukemustdie4822 I've tried other rings too, I don't think say the 7% flat increase in damage from stone of balance is that much. I think stone of expanse if better than stone of balance unless you are really depending on your Enigma. Burden of the gamber is terrible for enemies with weakpoint, you can consistently do 5000-7000 weakpoint damage with zania's malice, I only use burden of the gamber for bosses with no weakpoint. Burden of the destroyer is fine for boss fight, for exploration the range nerf really shows. Lastly, to address the question about energy diverter and ring slot. With bows, tightly wound coil have 100% up time, so a constant 15% dmg boost and 10% crit chance is really nice, it's effectively much better than ankh of power. I crit so much with it I am honestly suprised with I am not seeing a crit when I am not doing weakpoint damage. The tiny shield is just a nice little bonus, occasionally it saves me from being one hit from mobs, or some DOT damage, but mostly it's for keeping energy diverter up 100% of the time. With ankh of power + stone of balance, it's 22% constant damage increase, occasionally 37%. With energy diverter and tightly wound coil, it's constant 15% damage increase and 10% crit (added on an already decent crit chance with this build) plus a constant nice little shield, I personally prefer the latter, it's by no mean the definitive best choice but I just like seeing big red numbers haha
This bow build is still extremely effective after today's patch. Though after the fix/nerf for hunter's shroud I have been having difficulty hitting 7000-8500 damage per arrow.
I like the bow but I play a lot of coop and sometimes ammo management as well as latency make it hard to maximize its potential. I don’t like having to run around using ammo. Boxes wasting scrap. Still very fun though.

I really enjoyed using bows in this game, and this build is nuts. not many can keep up with Apo difficulty. The only adjustment I made is that I sometimes change use the Fae bow which allows for any mod, I am sacrificing a bit of damage but it is over-kill for most uses anyway and install the stasis beam for some QoL when it comes to annoying elites (e.g. Faelin's knights). In the end I find myself using all 3 bows interchangeably anyway
