His parents were from na-Hearadh (Harris) and there were, and still is , many, many men that are strong like that in our islands. The Basque men in some districts are reputed to be the same. JA used to come across here trialing and was a character with great stories. It was grand to watch him run and hear the stories. Duine comasach(an able man)👍

My father new him, threw sheep dogs, he was a character for sure. None of those men left.
