To be fair, I think it is common for coaches coming in (particularly with teams taht played in vastly different styles) to start with defensive solidity and build up. Individidual talent thrives a lot more offensively. Arteta when he first came to Arsenal, the team was very weak defensively and the build up was sort of a free form. Arteta built the spine and it took the etam around 1 year and a half to be actually decent in build up. I'd say give Motta time, 18 games is not really a lot, there is only so many hours of training you can get. Also, Koopmeiners was never the number 10, he never really attacked the box, same as Thuram.
The attacking crisis can actually be solved really easily and thats putting more numbers on the box..That has been our biggest issue going forward and being slow in transition..i think motta knows he doesnt have the right players to play attacking football and also not concede (fast and athletic players help both transitions atk and def) and thats why he is playing it safe so he doesnt lose matches
@@ItaFootPod yes absolutely but like i said its more down to not having the right players to play that attacking football and also not concede..most of these players are not it
I think motta should continue with 4231 in pivot, have koopmeniers, and loca/thuram And yieldez in the 10 role with timothy and chico in the flanks. The key player is yieldez in that role, i feel he will be more effective
HAve you think about the effect of these new generation Agnellis? Stellantis (FCA) is in ruins and will loose multiple brand very soon all goes into bancruptcy. Ferrari haven't won anything for decades. Juventus is in a downward spiral. Maybe the problem is these new Agnelli's and Elkanns, they are simply don't have it what you need to steer an empire.

That's fair
By the way, awesome work. Andc, I agree they need to pass attack through the middle instead of always on the wings.
Thank you bro

Well it's on Motta to get more players into the box. These are his tactics no?

Interesting points
Motta need to improve attack pass through. We don’t have that in every single game. We play to much in winger we don’t have creativity in the middle.
Spot on

We have discussed this in the past
Or 433 with loca, koopmeniers, and thuram in the middle
Yeah interesting shout
Juventus on the downward spiral.
Difficult to say right now
