The Grumps are weird. I have never heard ricotta cheese pronounced with a long O sound and so I looked up the pronunciation and they're wrong. It does sound like ric-ah-tah the way I've always heard it.
@@felixfischer6168 hi, I feel kinda obliged to chime in as an actual Italian to tell you that you and the Grumps are absolutely wrong. It's pronounced ric-ah-tah, like the o in rock.
@@Roz4628 Because it messes with the timestamp feature that TH-cam implemented and there's no way of embedding links into text on TH-cam as far as I'm aware of. The exact names of the animations as well as all the creators are mentioned in the description, if someone really wants to check out the original authors and show them support directly they can simply copy and paste the name of the videos into the search box, it's not rocket science.

They're not wrong. That, is in fact, the proper Italian pronunciation. What you've heard up until now was an anglicized version of the word.
