Maybe to make things easier on the viewers watching this rewritten series, you could have a character icon in the corner for who's story you're currently on, (Sonic for a Sonic Story, Shadow for Shadow Story, ect.)
Could you make a Let's Revive Shadow (Let's Fix Shadow?) Suppose it would take place after SEGA brought Shadow back into the franchise after SA2, where Shadow in his modern era isn't depicted as his usual edgy villainous self as SEGA wanted Shadow to look like a villain but actually be a villain.
Maybe he could be released if I don't know Elise wants to release him Adam flist threatens to kill Sonic if Elise doesn't release embolus and actually had some development with sonic to make it feel earned
I must say, Mephalis played Silver even better here. In the original game, Mephalis suggested changing the past. Here, Mephalis mentioned time travel lightly, then PUT DOWN the idea of going to change the past, leaving Silver feeling like it was HIS idea. High roll of deception, yeesh.
The time travel in 06 didn't have any rules. They just did whatever they wanted and didn't care about the consequences, because there were none. The way it seemed to work was as vanilla as it comes. "Change the past, the future changes". They also do things in the past that should have had major repercussions but just don't for some reason. Since they wrote the story without any rules regarding how this works, things don't really make sense and there are plotholes up the wazoo. Like I mentioned in the video, there was no reason Mephiles didn't collect the emeralds for himself, Elise having the blue emerald her entire life means it couldn't have been anywhere else in any other game, in fact the characters shouldn't even understand how they work without all seven which contradicts Knuckles' role as the guardian of the Emeralds, and Time travelling being a power they can access at will also calls into question why they don't just travel back before elise was kidnapped to stop Eggman, or just to a point where they could rectify the future easily. Then by the end, literally nothing matters anyway since they blow out the flame. Without rules or multiple realities and timelines, this game is just a huge disgusting, pointless mess.
The rewrite also makes you feel more sorry for Silver. In the original story, at least Silver had Blaze by his side. Here, poor Silver is all alone and he wonders if his efforts to take down Iblis would really matter in the end.
@@theadventurechu4546 He wasn't. There's no valid reason to want her out of the story. She serves her purpose well and there's nothing wrong with how she was included. People are basically just wanting something else not because it's better, but because they didn't understand what they got.

Funny thing is,Silver actually put up more of a fight than Sonic against Infinite in the first battle comparison. Sonic got dodged,kicked,kicked again,and passed out. Silver had multiple Boost clashes with Infinite and only lost after Infinite got more serious.
@@londonjackson8986 There's nothing Elise has in common with any Final Fantasy game. Final Fantasy never has gone for a realistic world aesthetic like the Sonic Adventure games and 06 do. Final Fantasy is either chibi medival fantasy, or steampunk cybernetic anime world. The characters always have overly done out of this world designs and spiky anime hair styles and hair and eye colors. Elise just looks like a real life person and her kingdom looks like a real world location, which is something Sonic's been doing from the start according to the lore.

I love that in this version, Silver wishes to time travel even though it won't change his timeline. It not only makes him noble but can also be a nod to the character he's based off, Trunks from Dragonball Z.
Resort Island I almost did a web comic series which would rewrite the game but I never did it because I just moved on from doing them. (I've never released any of them, it was really just a side hobby for awhile but I likely would have released the 06 series.) Let me know if you want to hear what I had planned. And nice user name btw.
Resort Island Starting off with what I was the most excited to do was to include Metal Sonic since Metal was supposed to play a major part in the story originally but he sadly never made it in. Elise would have been completely changed as a character and would only have gotten kidnapped one time near the end of the story. Crying would not have released Iblis, because if the game was realistic Iblis would have been released when she was 7. Iblis would have been part of her DNA/blood but could only be released with the chaos emeralds since Iblis being in her DNA would give her fast regeneration and a longer life time, making extraction impossible without the emeralds. Also if it were to have a similar ending to the original game, Amy would have brought Sonic back to life instead of Elise. Shadow's story would have stayed mostly the same and changed according to other events with Sonic and Silver, but instead of being sealed by Shadow, Mephiles would have been a failed attempt by the Black Arms to recreate Shadow. Metal Sonic would have stolen the Master Emerald from Knuckles, showing that he's still the guardian, since they've abandoned that concept ever since Heroes. There was an unused cutscene in the game which showed that Mephiles caused Eggman's ship to crash, so I would have used that concept but with a twist. At this point of the story Eggman would have collected all of the Emeralds including the Master Emerald as a back up. This would be where Mephiles collects all of the emeralds and causes the ship to crash so that there's nothing that Eggman can do to stop him, and Sonic wouldn't show up in time in order to do anything as well. Mephiles' extreme power combined with the Chaos Emeralds would allow him to drain Iblis with ease.
I figured someone was bound to try and rewrite Sonic 06's story sooner or later, but I didn't imagine Elise being cut entirely, Blaze being the main focus of the role of the princess, Silver and Solenna are a part of the Sol Dimension. Now I'm curious to see how Blaze and the her kingdom of the Sol Dimension ended up in Sonic's dimension.
I'm only 9 minutes in as I write this, and I gotta say, your writing for the characters is on-point! Also, I really like how you're writing Amy in this.

I fully approve of your decision to replace Elise with Blaze, one of my favorite characters of all time. That being said, if you want to actually keep the romance subplot but make it between Sonic and Blaze, I certainly wouldn't complain.

Finally you decided to tackle the big one. Similarly, I too have an idea for how to fix this mess of a story that I am just DYING to tell (so sit back cause it gonna take a while): A prologue scene in crisis city between Mephilis and Iblis is added, shedding a little more light on Mephilis' plan, and why he couldn't just fuses with Iblis then and there - Iblis foresaw that if they would fuse into Solaris, they would eventually meet their end by the hands of three hedgehogs- one from the past, one from the present, and one from the future. He orders Mephilis to get rid of at least one of them, while also ensuring their awakening in the process. Mephilis choose to target Sonic, obviously. Shadow's story on his own won't receive too much change. After sealing Mephilis inside the scepter in the past, Shadow tries to get rid of it by burying it deep underground - a attempt proven futile as it got digged up by Eggman years later on, but hey points for trying :) In the beginning of the story, it's revealed that Shadow only recently joined G.U.N on a one-time mission: to save Rouge in white acropolis (the only reason is even agreed to collaborate, despite the endless pleads from the president himself). Despite wanting to let go of his past, Shadow still cannot but to hold some form of resentment towards G.U.N, and is constantly conflicted with his unwanted affiliation. But during his story he learns to eventually let go of that fact, internally agreeing to tolerate them as long as he can be with his team. In Sonic's story, the love plotline is reduced to a simple friendship. The sun festival is now a coronation ceremony instead. Elise is shown to be quite nervous during the entire ceremony, not entirely sure if she fully up to the task of becoming a ruler. She constantly has this nagging feeling that something will go horribly wrong (which it does). When crashing the ceremony, Eggman looks more like his cartoon self (obviously). Elise is only kidnapped about 3 times instead of the original 4 (yeah I've counted), and she has more of a personality- she struggles more and tries to fight back (unsuccessfully) against Eggman, showing towards him more of a rude behavior while in captivity. She even successfully tries to bust herself out with the help of Amy at one point (playing a more active role in the breakout). When Sonic is placed with a option to give Eggman a chaos emerald in exchange for Elise, he decided to trick Eggman by giving him a fake chaos emerald instead (which Eggman only figures out the trick after sending the heroes to the future, followed by him screaming "SOOOOONNNNIIIIIIC"). Elise, who was most of her life sheltered inside her palace, longs for seeing the world outside her hometown, and is thrilled to hear about Sonic's adventures around the world as a mean to fill the void. She learns a lot from him about standing up for yourself and being brave. She gets really excited when Sonic offers her to show her that world together once everything is over. (That unfortunately didn't happen). While distracted, Mephilis shows up from behind, aiming a blast toward Elise. Sonic notices, and without a second thought jumps forward to protect her. This was all according to plan, as sonic has left himself wide open, and get shot right in the chest. A replacement to the kissing scene I will mention soon. After the world is saved, Elise's dad is also present in the coronation ceremony due to the time reset, and supports Elise when she starts to get nervous again. With enough courage, Elise accept her role as soleanna's future queen, and the crowd respond with massive cheers. On the rooftops nearby, Sonic is chilling out watching the celebration fireworks. His friends shows up to invite him to join the festivities down below (teasing him that Shadow will finish all the chili dogs if he won't). Before heading down with his friends, Sonic looks down below to the celebrating town, and remarks how soleanna is truly a beautiful place, and he heads off as the fireworks continue. In Silver's story, both Silver and Blaze are not as easily persuaded by Mephilis when they first meet. Silver ultimately agree, manipulated by Mephilis to think that it might be their only chance of saving the future. Blaze is still a little suspicious about Mephilis, but she still supports Silver's decisions. The biggest change in this story is Blaze herself - At this point of time, she is yet to sport her fire powers, as this game serves as her origin story (meaning this occurres before the rush series timeline-wise). She only gains her iconic fire powers after sealing Iblis inside her, and sending them both to another dimension - the Sol dimension. When the player complete the game 100%, an extra after-credits cutscene plays, showing Marine (although we can only see her shadow) finding Blaze on an island shore with no memory whatsoever. Also prior in the same cutscene, Silver is shown relaxing on the rooftops in the now-fixed future, explaining how the world was peaceful as long as he could remember. Though not remembering past events or Blaze due to the reset, Silver still feels as something is missing in life - SOMEONE is missing in his life. He promise himself to find them no matter what, even if he have to travel through time itself to do so.
As for the replacement for the infamous kissing scene - While everyone is out looking for the chaos emeralds, in hope they would help stop Solaris from destroying reality as we know it, Elise sits beside Sonic's body guarding it, lamenting his death and what terrible she had caused. She lament about how she was nothing but a burden to everyone around her, especially to Sonic, and wishes she could've done better for her best and only friend. "A burden. In the end that all I was for you wasn't it? All I ever gave you was nothing but troubles and pain. But yet, despite it, you acted so nice towards me - you made me smile, you made me laugh, you were always there for me. Yo-.. you were the best friend I've ever had. Your were the ONLY friend I've ever had. Please (sob), forgive me (sob), for being such a terrible friend!" Elise soon begins to cry, releasing years upon years of repressed emotions. She starts to cry not only about Sonic, but also about herself: she cries about her dad, about her life sheltered in the palace, and about not being able to express any of her emotions. Soon more and more tears began to fall down. One of those tears, glowing like a faint flame, lands on Sonic's chest. Soon enough, the place began to glow in a warm light. The cold, lifeless body sudden became more warm. Upon closer hearing, a sound of a faint heartbeat can be heard. "Heh, so the little princess can cry after all." The princess opens her eyes in surprise, and shocked to see Sonic smiling right at her. He sported a tired look, with black bags laying under his eyes tired, like he had just woken up from a long, LONG sleep. Elise's eyes began to fill with even more tears, those filled with pure utter joy. She hugs Sonic while continuing to cry even louder, with more and more tears falling down the floor. Confused and barely able to breath, sonic hugs the princess back. "Princess, we're back!" A shout is heard from the distance. The princess look behind here to see the entire crew returning back, with seven Chaos Emeralds in tow. "We did it! We found all the Emeralds! All we got to do now is to find a way to defeat So-...." Tails exclaim with joy, when he soon chokes on his own words. The entire group stop in place, shocked on the unexpected sight of Elise trying to get the still weakened Sonic up on his feet. Sonic wave at his friends with a big (though still weakened) smile. That smile is replaced with a shocked expression as both Tails, Amy and Knuckles charge forward to hug their friend. This didn't help at all to Sonic's still recovering sense of balance, and the hugging group soon falls backwards. Sonic is left stuck, even more confused, under a pile of his weeping friends. "Sheesh guys calms down!" Sonic tries to calm down his friends. "You all act like I just came back from the dead or something." "...... We're I?" Sonic asks unsurely. "Huh guys, not meaning to interrupt this heartfelt reunion or something, but we still got an important issue to deal with!" Silver interrupts in, pointing his finger at the still raging Solaris. Confused on what is going on, Knuckles briefly brings Sonic up to speed about recent events (in which the hedgehog responses with a blank stare, trying to quietly process it all). Figuring out that Solaris needs to be defeated in both past, present, and future simultaneously, both Sonic, Shadow, and Silver volunteer to use the seven Chaos Emeralds to turn super, and they all fly away to fight Solaris. After the fight, Sonic and Elise transported to a place beyond time and space, where Solaris' flame, his life essence, rest quietly. The duo faced with a choice if to put out Solaris' flame, and so put an end to the disaster before it even starts. Elise hesitates, knowing that doing this will result in the cancellation of any event that led to their friendship. Sonic put his hand on her shoulder to comfort her, signing her that everything will be alright. Elise wipes out her tears, admitting this was indeed a selfish thought. She thanks Sonic for everything he done for her, and wishes that, in the future, their paths might cross once again. With that final wish, she blows out the lantern, and everything turns to black.
Oh, and as a bonus, I also have a fun idea for explaining the reason behind the guard captain's mission - Near the gate leading to new city, the two guards guarding the gate are shown slacking off. "You got a four?" Ask one. "Go fish." The other answers. "What do you two think you are doing?!" An angry voice is heard from behind that startled the two guards. They immediately jump into a saluting position as the captain approaches the two from behind. "You two are supposed to guard the gate, not to play cards!" The captain angrily shouts at the guards, knocking the cards from their hands. "Ever since yesterday's attack, we royal guards especially need to be on an extremely high alert, and you two are just *slacking off* ?!" "Yes captain sir!" The two guards respond in unison The captain leaves out a disappointing sigh. "You at least still have the key in your possession, right?" He asks, rubbing his temples. "Yes sir it's right here." One of the guards responds, quickly pulling out of his pocket a small golden key, that starts to clumsily bounce on his hands. As the guard tries to clumsily catch it, the key bounces up high to the sky, and got caught by a seagull. "After that seagull!" The captain shouts. The guards and captain hastily chase the seagull down, trying to make it drop the key. They eventually do make it drop the key...... Right into the sewers. " *YOU IMBECILES!* " The captain shouts even for furious at the ashamed guards. "You just lost the only means of passing through that gate!" The captain rubs his temples again as he tries to calms himself down. "It's fine. It's fine! It's manageable. All we have to do is to retrieve it in time before anyone will come and asks to pass throug-" "Hi!" A voice from behind startles the stressed captain, making him jump in his place. He turns around to see a small blue hedgehog standing right behind him. "Don't mind me interrupting, but you are the guards of that gate over there right?" Sonic politely asks, pointing his thumb over to the gate. "Yes?" The captain answers. "Great!" The hedghog says. "If so then I need to pass through. Long story, but I got a princess to save and all, and I really really got to hurr-" "NO YOU CAN'T!" The captain hastily shouts, realizing the constantly worsening situation in front of him. "What? Why not?" The hedgehog curiously asks. "B-because....." The captain looks around nervously, trying to find an excuse. "You..... haven't Passed our trial yet! Yeah trial! You got to prove yourself worthy before we can allow you to pass." "Ok then, What trial?" Signs of suspicion start to show on the blue hedgehog, scratching his head. "Y-you...." The captain quickly thinks. "Have to guess who the captain is! Yeah! This is a test of wisdom: Our captain is hiding among the guards nearby, posing as a regular guard. You have to question them and find who is the real captain. Be sure you ask every guard around before coming back here. Just be careful - not everyone is telling the truth. Good luck!" Sonic thinks for a bit, before giving a shrug and running off. The captain wave the hedgehog goodbye with a nervous smile. That smile quickly changes to angry frown towards to the guards. "Well?" The captain asks. "What are you waiting for? *GO GET THAT KEY* !" The guards hastily salute, and run off. Some time passes, and Sonic comes running back to the captain. "W-wha- back so soon?" The captain is startled. He didn't expect him to come back so quickly. "Did you already figured out who the captain is?" "Well, I asked every guard around. They'd all said it was you." Sonic points his fingers toward the captain. The captain continue to sweat nervously. In the corner of his eye he spots the two guards from before quickly running towards the gate. They all look filthy, and they had trash covering their uniforms, but they proudly show the shining golden key in their hands. "Annnnnddddd you are correct!" The captain shouts in joy. "Got you fooled with my disguise quite hard didn't I? You showed your worth, now your are allowed to pass." The captain quickly signs for the guards to open the gate for the hedgehog. "Thanks. I guess." Sonic thanks the guards and runs through the gate, a bit confused about the whole endeavor. Both the guards and the captain wave goodbye to the blue hedgehog with nervous smiles, before exhaustingly collapsing on the ground with a sigh of relief.

4:00 that is the one consistent thing about every single Sonic game. Good or bad, Sonic games have awesome music. 5:15 I never bought nor played the game so the only thing I am shipping is Silver with Blaze, cuz they are adorable and they belong together.
I imagine Mephiles' laugh that drowns out the screams just being Joker's laugh from that scene from Batman: Mask of the Phantasm when the amusement park that he, Batman, and Phantasm are in explodes.
@@WhiteFireTheDragon I also came up with A supposed guardian that’s meant to keep the two worlds separated and isolated from each other. The one guardian used all of his strength when the worlds split, only for many years later… particularly in 2013… one Month after Sonic Lost World… through accidental circumstances… that guardian would return. Could it be in the form of a Hedgehog or a fox, the form of a Cat or Raccoon? No one knows either way. It could be a human in our realm for all we know. It could Some 16 year old highschool Sonic Fan going through a severe case of emotional withdrawal, but that’d be ridiculous… but at least his motive for hiding his emotions wouldn’t be AS ridiculous as Elise. :)

I heard Mephiles laugh and couldn't help but grin. Dan Green's tendency to chew the scenery never fails to make whatever he's in better, though sadly it wasn't enough to save the original game.
Giving Elise's role to Blaze is honestly the best course of action, and her introduction here does a solid job at establishing her character (you can't show much personality if you just smile and wave). Even if you elected to keep the romantic subplot in, it wouldn't be half as bad an issue as it is in the actual game since the squickiness would be out of the picture. On top of that, connecting all of the "Sol" locations to the Sol Dimension just makes sense.
I'd been hesitant to watch your fanfiction videos since I've been burned by so many other channels' in the past. But the second you made Blaze the main character and established this as part of the Rush canon, I knew I was in for a treat. Thank you.
First off, Garrulous looked at Elise and said... ....You should have gone for the head..XD Second, so...Knuckles is just carrying the master emerald with him now. Honestly surprised it hasn't shattered yet. Thirdly, points for the team sonic theme being used.
Removing humans means the world feels less consistent compared to the previous games. Elise being a human wasn't even the problem, it was entirely how badly her relationship with Sonic was developed and how she kissed him when he was supposedly dead.

I still don't think that's the biggest problem. The woman was in love, romantic love, with an animal. Sure the other thing is bad too, but clearly Elise is not right waaaay before that happens.

@@Garrulous64 Humans are animals. YOU are an animal. Sonic's a Being (Sapient), His Immortal Essence (Spirit/Mind) is Human so he's a Human (Man/Person) even though his form isn't Homo Sapien. The fact you don't consider yourself an animal (When the definition of the word means "A Lifeform that breathes") and consider Sonic not a fellow Human (Which is more than just form) shows how little you thought this through. I mean no disrespect but if you were turned into Sonic would you suddenly think it'd be wrong for you to be with a regular human? You're the same person because of your spirit regardless of the form you've taken and you're still able to consent to a relationship so no one is getting hurt in it. I highly doubt you'd feel the same way if that happened to you. You have no valid reason to be against their relationship.
HONESTLY let's look at the sonic 06 story with the ONLY change being no more ellise. Silver and Shadow's routes in the games are pretty good, but without ellise you would need to rework Sonic's entire story, meaning he has actual time to develope relationships with his teamates in the game rather than them just being token characters. Maybe he has more involvment with Mephilis, because if you think about it his only interaction is when he dies. Honestly there are a ton of possibilities if you remove all of that awkward and contrived eillise screentime.
Why!? Why can't humans be in this rewritten story!? I see literary no reason why humans and anthropomorphic animals other than Sonic and Co. can't just live together in both Sonic's dimension and the Sol Dimension!?
@@Garrulous64 No, they have not. Humans have been a part of the series from the very start AND they make the storylines better with their presence. Sonic Elise is a beautiful relationship BECAUSE he's a non Human person (Person meaning he's a Human Being on the inside in his Spirit meaning he's not a real life hedgehog but a fictional race of man that resembles one) and she's a regular Human person. It's a beautiful expression of Love being all that matters and that appearance doesn't matter. The Sonic series takes place in the real world and always has according to Japanese Sonic Bible Lore and the manuals for the Megadrive games. Madonna was a part of Sonic 1's story till the very end where they scrapped her because they didn't feel like they could do justice to her character in the storyline. They had realistic Humans in the series from the start so they should always be there. The only thing in this story that needs a complete rewrite is how easily Silver and Blaze are tricked by Mephiles and how inconsistent Blaze's portrayal is in the first and latter half of the storyline. Everything else works just fine barring a few minor things needing elaboration (Like where the Tornado is and why Tails isn't using it.) There is NO reason to overhaul the storyline and it's disrespectful to Shiro Maekawa, Yuji Naka, Naoto Oshima, and Kiyoko Yoshimura (The creators of the Sonic canon) to act as if there's something inherently wrong with their ideas. They decide whether something fits or not, not you, and they decided it fit from the start.
Huh. It really seems Melphelis is the puppet master behind this plan. but I do think Eggman is gonna have his hand in on the energy spikes perhaps it due to Iblis (Aka; The Fames of Desaster ) and maybe a certain someone is somehow connected to it. I'm really interested. Also R. I. P. Elise.
I don't mind this change of the 06 Plot but for my Rewrite; Elise is still the princess but a Princess that will protect her city and people even from Eggman. She isn't kidnapped like a knock off Princess Peach but Iblis is sealed inside a thing called the "Staff of Flame". With Eilse and Sonic having a Brother/Sister Relationship (Like Shadow and Maria) and Mephiles flushed out. And the Time Stones and Lttle Planet are also back from Sonic CD. So Team Sonic along side Elise. Race against the clock to stop Eggman getting both scepter of darkness and staff of flame.
Aha, I'm not the only one who saw the obvious solution of replacing Elise with Blaze, a princess who doesn't suck, isn't just a damsel in distress, and already existed in the game franchise!
What can I say, Garrulous64? Your Sonic 06 fix is more than wonderful! I admit, I myself had similar ideas about replacing Elise Blaze, although my thoughts were different from yours: 1. No time travel. This idea in itself is more than good, but at the same time it gives rise to many plot holes. Therefore, I would completely abandon it and build a plot in the present. 2. Solleana remained the city of the world of Sonic, but there were no people in it. Blaze would be the ruler of the city. 3. Silver in this scenario is the young bodyguard Blaze and part of the Solleana guard, which includes the hedgehog telepath Gold (concurrently, Silver’s older brother, who helped him get into the guard), the smasher wolf Bronze, whom it’s impossible to injure, the marten-electrokinetic Copper and orangutan Iron, the oldest guardsman, their leader and mentor, capable of creating powerful protective fields (such as those that appeared in Sonic when he carried Elise in his arms). The fact that he is from the future is only the result of the manipulations of Mefiles, who convinced him of this by faking memories and set him against Blaze in order to strengthen her negativity and bring the girl closer to Sonic. 3. Mefiles, significantly weakened due to the loss of time manipulation, would become what he was - Solaris, or rather his mind without power. He could inhabit the bodies of others and control them like puppets. For example, he moved into Gold and used his telepathy to manipulate others - Dr. Eggman, who attacked Solleana, Silver, who was knocked out and left defenseless during Eggman’s attack, and others who did not have a strong personality to resist suggestion, and the Chaos Emerald whose energy interfered with the manipulation of the mind. All this was done for one purpose - to break the seal of Blaise, which carried the strength of Solaris and his power. And the only way to break the seal (which also did not allow Solaris to enter the girl) is to bring her to complete despair when strong negative emotions feed the flame and allow him to escape to freedom. As a method, he chose the most effective - love. Make Sonic and Blaze fall in love with each other as a result of manipulation and then kill Sonic in front of the princess - what is not an ideal option for complete despair? 4. Sonic, like your correction of the story, went to Solleana along with Tails on a tip from Knuckles, to whom the Master Emerald sent bad visions. And the original goal of the hedgehog was to try to catch Eggman and make him answer for the attack and victims in Solleana, while trying to unravel the visions. Although, as a result, between him and Blaze (I interpret Sonic's story 06 as an alternative, and therefore Sonic and Blaze had not met in it before) feelings flared up and the matter acquired a personal character. 5. Knuckles acted as a truth seeker, trying to unravel visions and essentially replaces Shadow. 6. One of the roles in history was to play Metal Sonic of a new model with AI. He would understand what was happening with his master and tried to save him, which would lead to the same side with Sonic and end in a selfless death for the sake of the creator. 7. Amy was not in history, since she did not play a special role. 8. The modified BlaZe initially could not properly use the flame of Solaris and was a rather reserved and lonely girl, on whose shoulders there was a burden of responsibility. But thanks to Sonic and their relationships, she learned to manage her abilities and changed, becoming more open and sincere. Something like that. Your video is really great! Waiting for continue!
Oooh, I am very much intruiged by this. Your writing style is quite impressive, making this easily top tier fanfiction (those stories can actually reach some very high bars, believe it or not, though they are definitely few and far between).
I always Thought this could Work if we made all Humans (except for Eggman) into Animals...making Elise a Hedgehog and with a bit more development than "Save Me Mari- Sonic!" ...but Damn you made this even Better without Adding Elise, *THANK YOU.*
So far this is pretty good, the initial changes you made already are much better, and as someone else whose been in the process of rewriting 06 for fun, i really admire the more drastic changes you've made here, i can't wait to see how you write the rest of the story!

Jonas Jensen actually, I also like to put Shadow and Amy together. In fact, I’m quite torn as to which Shadow ship I like more. Also, on the subject of Sonic and Blaze, I really like that moment they had in Sonic and the black knight😊. I know that technically wasn’t Blaze, but still.
Here’s what I think Sonic 06 should be: 1. instead of Elise be a main character in the game she should be a side character, reduced to a child and be with her father still. A grownup version of Elise lives in Silver’s future and is one of his closest friends trying to set the future right. She gives him a Time Stone (like in Sonic CD) to time travel and remind him that no matter how important it is to make a better future, she reminds him to do the right thing. 2. Instead of Eggman trying to create the Solaris prototype, it’s actually Eggman Nega disguised as Eggman to rule the future instead. He has a device that can make him travel between dimensions (hence the reason he was in Blaze’s world) because he needed the Sol or Chaos Emeralds to control time and space. He wants to erase his foes and Eggman for ruining his reputation and be known as the true greatest scientific genius in the world. This will cause Eggman to team up with Sonic and Stop Eggman Nega from erasing both their existences. 3.The reason why Blaze will be in the Story is that she finds out about Eggman Nega’s dimensional device and follows him to Silver’s timeline. She then teams up with Silver to stop him, and finds out that she cares a fraction of Iblis’s power of flames. 4. Elise’s role is replaced by another character, who is her longtime nanny and friend, and another animal character(not sure if she should be a bird character or a dolphin character cause Soleanna is the city of water). She is actually a timeline guardian meant to stop anyone from causing chaos in the timeline be it mortal or god like being. But the Solaris project disaster caused her to loose her memory and lived as a regular person serving Elise. But thanks to Sonic and the others, she regains her memories bit by bit, find other time stones and use them to help Stop Eggman Nega and Solaris in the final battle. But must return to her duties as a guardian and erase herself from everyone’s memories. But returns in sequels like generations if needed.

Sonic and Knuckles getting into a tussle only to be bonked on the head by Amy's hammer while Tails tries to keep calm, Tails questioning Sonic's choice of words when he uses the term 'house call' and saying that Eggman's name was written on it like "a tacky red sharpie", and Amy and Knuckles getting into an arguing match which leads to them going in opposite directions. The Team Sonic plus Amy interactions are hilarious.
Blaze not knowing Marine yet makes no sense since Sonic Rush Adventure takes place before SA1 because We see the red tornado which was destroyed in SA1.

Maybe to make things easier on the viewers watching this rewritten series, you could have a character icon in the corner for who's story you're currently on, (Sonic for a Sonic Story, Shadow for Shadow Story, ect.)

I must say, Mephalis played Silver even better here. In the original game, Mephalis suggested changing the past. Here, Mephalis mentioned time travel lightly, then PUT DOWN the idea of going to change the past, leaving Silver feeling like it was HIS idea. High roll of deception, yeesh.

The time travel in 06 didn't have any rules. They just did whatever they wanted and didn't care about the consequences, because there were none.
The way it seemed to work was as vanilla as it comes. "Change the past, the future changes". They also do things in the past that should have had major repercussions but just don't for some reason.
Since they wrote the story without any rules regarding how this works, things don't really make sense and there are plotholes up the wazoo. Like I mentioned in the video, there was no reason Mephiles didn't collect the emeralds for himself, Elise having the blue emerald her entire life means it couldn't have been anywhere else in any other game, in fact the characters shouldn't even understand how they work without all seven which contradicts Knuckles' role as the guardian of the Emeralds, and Time travelling being a power they can access at will also calls into question why they don't just travel back before elise was kidnapped to stop Eggman, or just to a point where they could rectify the future easily.
Then by the end, literally nothing matters anyway since they blow out the flame. Without rules or multiple realities and timelines, this game is just a huge disgusting, pointless mess.
Rolled for a ten and got a God damned critical roll.
The rewrite also makes you feel more sorry for Silver. In the original story, at least Silver had Blaze by his side. Here, poor Silver is all alone and he wonders if his efforts to take down Iblis would really matter in the end.

@@londonjackson8986 There's nothing Elise has in common with any Final Fantasy game. Final Fantasy never has gone for a realistic world aesthetic like the Sonic Adventure games and 06 do. Final Fantasy is either chibi medival fantasy, or steampunk cybernetic anime world. The characters always have overly done out of this world designs and spiky anime hair styles and hair and eye colors. Elise just looks like a real life person and her kingdom looks like a real world location, which is something Sonic's been doing from the start according to the lore.

I love that in this version, Silver wishes to time travel even though it won't change his timeline. It not only makes him noble but can also be a nod to the character he's based off, Trunks from Dragonball Z.

Resort Island I almost did a web comic series which would rewrite the game but I never did it because I just moved on from doing them. (I've never released any of them, it was really just a side hobby for awhile but I likely would have released the 06 series.)

Resort Island Starting off with what I was the most excited to do was to include Metal Sonic since Metal was supposed to play a major part in the story originally but he sadly never made it in.
Elise would have been completely changed as a character and would only have gotten kidnapped one time near the end of the story. Crying would not have released Iblis, because if the game was realistic Iblis would have been released when she was 7. Iblis would have been part of her DNA/blood but could only be released with the chaos emeralds since Iblis being in her DNA would give her fast regeneration and a longer life time, making extraction impossible without the emeralds. Also if it were to have a similar ending to the original game, Amy would have brought Sonic back to life instead of Elise.
Shadow's story would have stayed mostly the same and changed according to other events with Sonic and Silver, but instead of being sealed by Shadow, Mephiles would have been a failed attempt by the Black Arms to recreate Shadow.
Metal Sonic would have stolen the Master Emerald from Knuckles, showing that he's still the guardian, since they've abandoned that concept ever since Heroes.
There was an unused cutscene in the game which showed that Mephiles caused Eggman's ship to crash, so I would have used that concept but with a twist. At this point of the story Eggman would have collected all of the Emeralds including the Master Emerald as a back up. This would be where Mephiles collects all of the emeralds and causes the ship to crash so that there's nothing that Eggman can do to stop him, and Sonic wouldn't show up in time in order to do anything as well. Mephiles' extreme power combined with the Chaos Emeralds would allow him to drain Iblis with ease.

Finally you decided to tackle the big one.
Similarly, I too have an idea for how to fix this mess of a story that I am just DYING to tell (so sit back cause it gonna take a while):
A prologue scene in crisis city between Mephilis and Iblis is added, shedding a little more light on Mephilis' plan, and why he couldn't just fuses with Iblis then and there -
Iblis foresaw that if they would fuse into Solaris, they would eventually meet their end by the hands of three hedgehogs- one from the past, one from the present, and one from the future.
He orders Mephilis to get rid of at least one of them, while also ensuring their awakening in the process.
Mephilis choose to target Sonic, obviously.
Shadow's story on his own won't receive too much change.
After sealing Mephilis inside the scepter in the past, Shadow tries to get rid of it by burying it deep underground - a attempt proven futile as it got digged up by Eggman years later on, but hey points for trying :)
In the beginning of the story, it's revealed that Shadow only recently joined G.U.N on a one-time mission: to save Rouge in white acropolis (the only reason is even agreed to collaborate, despite the endless pleads from the president himself).
Despite wanting to let go of his past, Shadow still cannot but to hold some form of resentment towards G.U.N, and is constantly conflicted with his unwanted affiliation.
But during his story he learns to eventually let go of that fact, internally agreeing to tolerate them as long as he can be with his team.
In Sonic's story, the love plotline is reduced to a simple friendship.
The sun festival is now a coronation ceremony instead. Elise is shown to be quite nervous during the entire ceremony, not entirely sure if she fully up to the task of becoming a ruler. She constantly has this nagging feeling that something will go horribly wrong (which it does).
When crashing the ceremony, Eggman looks more like his cartoon self (obviously).
Elise is only kidnapped about 3 times instead of the original 4 (yeah I've counted), and she has more of a personality-
she struggles more and tries to fight back (unsuccessfully) against Eggman, showing towards him more of a rude behavior while in captivity. She even successfully tries to bust herself out with the help of Amy at one point (playing a more active role in the breakout).
When Sonic is placed with a option to give Eggman a chaos emerald in exchange for Elise, he decided to trick Eggman by giving him a fake chaos emerald instead (which Eggman only figures out the trick after sending the heroes to the future, followed by him screaming "SOOOOONNNNIIIIIIC").
Elise, who was most of her life sheltered inside her palace, longs for seeing the world outside her hometown, and is thrilled to hear about Sonic's adventures around the world as a mean to fill the void. She learns a lot from him about standing up for yourself and being brave.
She gets really excited when Sonic offers her to show her that world together once everything is over. (That unfortunately didn't happen).
While distracted, Mephilis shows up from behind, aiming a blast toward Elise. Sonic notices, and without a second thought jumps forward to protect her. This was all according to plan, as sonic has left himself wide open, and get shot right in the chest.
A replacement to the kissing scene I will mention soon.
After the world is saved, Elise's dad is also present in the coronation ceremony due to the time reset, and supports Elise when she starts to get nervous again. With enough courage, Elise accept her role as soleanna's future queen, and the crowd respond with massive cheers.
On the rooftops nearby, Sonic is chilling out watching the celebration fireworks. His friends shows up to invite him to join the festivities down below (teasing him that Shadow will finish all the chili dogs if he won't).
Before heading down with his friends, Sonic looks down below to the celebrating town, and remarks how soleanna is truly a beautiful place, and he heads off as the fireworks continue.
In Silver's story, both Silver and Blaze are not as easily persuaded by Mephilis when they first meet. Silver ultimately agree, manipulated by Mephilis to think that it might be their only chance of saving the future.
Blaze is still a little suspicious about Mephilis, but she still supports Silver's decisions.
The biggest change in this story is Blaze herself - At this point of time, she is yet to sport her fire powers, as this game serves as her origin story (meaning this occurres before the rush series timeline-wise).
She only gains her iconic fire powers after sealing Iblis inside her, and sending them both to another dimension - the Sol dimension.
When the player complete the game 100%, an extra after-credits cutscene plays, showing Marine (although we can only see her shadow) finding Blaze on an island shore with no memory whatsoever.
Also prior in the same cutscene, Silver is shown relaxing on the rooftops in the now-fixed future, explaining how the world was peaceful as long as he could remember.
Though not remembering past events or Blaze due to the reset, Silver still feels as something is missing in life - SOMEONE is missing in his life.
He promise himself to find them no matter what, even if he have to travel through time itself to do so.
As for the replacement for the infamous kissing scene -
While everyone is out looking for the chaos emeralds, in hope they would help stop Solaris from destroying reality as we know it, Elise sits beside Sonic's body guarding it, lamenting his death and what terrible she had caused.
She lament about how she was nothing but a burden to everyone around her, especially to Sonic, and wishes she could've done better for her best and only friend.
"A burden. In the end that all I was for you wasn't it? All I ever gave you was nothing but troubles and pain.
But yet, despite it, you acted so nice towards me - you made me smile, you made me laugh, you were always there for me.
Yo-.. you were the best friend I've ever had. Your were the ONLY friend I've ever had.
Please (sob), forgive me (sob), for being such a terrible friend!"
Elise soon begins to cry, releasing years upon years of repressed emotions.
She starts to cry not only about Sonic, but also about herself: she cries about her dad, about her life sheltered in the palace, and about not being able to express any of her emotions. Soon more and more tears began to fall down.
One of those tears, glowing like a faint flame, lands on Sonic's chest.
Soon enough, the place began to glow in a warm light. The cold, lifeless body sudden became more warm. Upon closer hearing, a sound of a faint heartbeat can be heard.
"Heh, so the little princess can cry after all."
The princess opens her eyes in surprise, and shocked to see Sonic smiling right at her.
He sported a tired look, with black bags laying under his eyes tired, like he had just woken up from a long, LONG sleep.
Elise's eyes began to fill with even more tears, those filled with pure utter joy. She hugs Sonic while continuing to cry even louder, with more and more tears falling down the floor. Confused and barely able to breath, sonic hugs the princess back.
"Princess, we're back!"
A shout is heard from the distance. The princess look behind here to see the entire crew returning back, with seven Chaos Emeralds in tow.
"We did it! We found all the Emeralds! All we got to do now is to find a way to defeat So-...." Tails exclaim with joy, when he soon chokes on his own words.
The entire group stop in place, shocked on the unexpected sight of Elise trying to get the still weakened Sonic up on his feet.
Sonic wave at his friends with a big (though still weakened) smile. That smile is replaced with a shocked expression as both Tails, Amy and Knuckles charge forward to hug their friend.
This didn't help at all to Sonic's still recovering sense of balance, and the hugging group soon falls backwards. Sonic is left stuck, even more confused, under a pile of his weeping friends.
"Sheesh guys calms down!"
Sonic tries to calm down his friends.
"You all act like I just came back from the dead or something."
"...... We're I?" Sonic asks unsurely.
"Huh guys, not meaning to interrupt this heartfelt reunion or something, but we still got an important issue to deal with!"
Silver interrupts in, pointing his finger at the still raging Solaris.
Confused on what is going on, Knuckles briefly brings Sonic up to speed about recent events (in which the hedgehog responses with a blank stare, trying to quietly process it all).
Figuring out that Solaris needs to be defeated in both past, present, and future simultaneously, both Sonic, Shadow, and Silver volunteer to use the seven Chaos Emeralds to turn super, and they all fly away to fight Solaris.
After the fight, Sonic and Elise transported to a place beyond time and space, where Solaris' flame, his life essence, rest quietly. The duo faced with a choice if to put out Solaris' flame, and so put an end to the disaster before it even starts. Elise hesitates, knowing that doing this will result in the cancellation of any event that led to their friendship.
Sonic put his hand on her shoulder to comfort her, signing her that everything will be alright.
Elise wipes out her tears, admitting this was indeed a selfish thought.
She thanks Sonic for everything he done for her, and wishes that, in the future, their paths might cross once again.
With that final wish, she blows out the lantern, and everything turns to black.
Oh, and as a bonus, I also have a fun idea for explaining the reason behind the guard captain's mission -
Near the gate leading to new city, the two guards guarding the gate are shown slacking off.
"You got a four?" Ask one.
"Go fish." The other answers.
"What do you two think you are doing?!" An angry voice is heard from behind that startled the two guards. They immediately jump into a saluting position as the captain approaches the two from behind.
"You two are supposed to guard the gate, not to play cards!" The captain angrily shouts at the guards, knocking the cards from their hands.
"Ever since yesterday's attack, we royal guards especially need to be on an extremely high alert, and you two are just *slacking off* ?!"
"Yes captain sir!" The two guards respond in unison
The captain leaves out a disappointing sigh.
"You at least still have the key in your possession, right?" He asks, rubbing his temples.
"Yes sir it's right here." One of the guards responds, quickly pulling out of his pocket a small golden key, that starts to clumsily bounce on his hands.
As the guard tries to clumsily catch it, the key bounces up high to the sky, and got caught by a seagull.
"After that seagull!" The captain shouts.
The guards and captain hastily chase the seagull down, trying to make it drop the key. They eventually do make it drop the key...... Right into the sewers.
" *YOU IMBECILES!* " The captain shouts even for furious at the ashamed guards.
"You just lost the only means of passing through that gate!"
The captain rubs his temples again as he tries to calms himself down.
"It's fine. It's fine! It's manageable. All we have to do is to retrieve it in time before anyone will come and asks to pass throug-"
"Hi!"
A voice from behind startles the stressed captain, making him jump in his place.
He turns around to see a small blue hedgehog standing right behind him.
"Don't mind me interrupting, but you are the guards of that gate over there right?" Sonic politely asks, pointing his thumb over to the gate.
"Yes?" The captain answers.
"Great!" The hedghog says. "If so then I need to pass through. Long story, but I got a princess to save and all, and I really really got to hurr-"
"NO YOU CAN'T!" The captain hastily shouts, realizing the constantly worsening situation in front of him.
"What? Why not?" The hedgehog curiously asks.
"B-because....." The captain looks around nervously, trying to find an excuse. "You..... haven't Passed our trial yet! Yeah trial! You got to prove yourself worthy before we can allow you to pass."
"Ok then, What trial?" Signs of suspicion start to show on the blue hedgehog, scratching his head.
"Y-you...." The captain quickly thinks. "Have to guess who the captain is! Yeah! This is a test of wisdom: Our captain is hiding among the guards nearby, posing as a regular guard. You have to question them and find who is the real captain.
Be sure you ask every guard around before coming back here. Just be careful - not everyone is telling the truth. Good luck!"
Sonic thinks for a bit, before giving a shrug and running off.
The captain wave the hedgehog goodbye with a nervous smile. That smile quickly changes to angry frown towards to the guards.
"Well?" The captain asks. "What are you waiting for? *GO GET THAT KEY* !"
The guards hastily salute, and run off.
Some time passes, and Sonic comes running back to the captain.
"W-wha- back so soon?" The captain is startled. He didn't expect him to come back so quickly.
"Did you already figured out who the captain is?"
"Well, I asked every guard around. They'd all said it was you." Sonic points his fingers toward the captain.
The captain continue to sweat nervously. In the corner of his eye he spots the two guards from before quickly running towards the gate.
They all look filthy, and they had trash covering their uniforms, but they proudly show the shining golden key in their hands.
"Annnnnddddd you are correct!" The captain shouts in joy. "Got you fooled with my disguise quite hard didn't I? You showed your worth, now your are allowed to pass."
The captain quickly signs for the guards to open the gate for the hedgehog.
"Thanks. I guess." Sonic thanks the guards and runs through the gate, a bit confused about the whole endeavor.
Both the guards and the captain wave goodbye to the blue hedgehog with nervous smiles, before exhaustingly collapsing on the ground with a sigh of relief.

I also came up with A supposed guardian that’s meant to keep the two worlds separated and isolated from each other. The one guardian used all of his strength when the worlds split, only for many years later… particularly in 2013… one Month after Sonic Lost World… through accidental circumstances… that guardian would return.
Could it be in the form of a Hedgehog or a fox, the form of a Cat or Raccoon? No one knows either way. It could be a human in our realm for all we know. It could Some 16 year old highschool Sonic Fan going through a severe case of emotional withdrawal, but that’d be ridiculous… but at least his motive for hiding his emotions wouldn’t be AS ridiculous as Elise. :)

Amazing story writing here. To be honest I can only see Eggman as an ally half way through the plot, as Mephiles is the big bad.

Giving Elise's role to Blaze is honestly the best course of action, and her introduction here does a solid job at establishing her character (you can't show much personality if you just smile and wave). Even if you elected to keep the romantic subplot in, it wouldn't be half as bad an issue as it is in the actual game since the squickiness would be out of the picture. On top of that, connecting all of the "Sol" locations to the Sol Dimension just makes sense.

Removing humans means the world feels less consistent compared to the previous games.
Elise being a human wasn't even the problem, it was entirely how badly her relationship with Sonic was developed and how she kissed him when he was supposedly dead.
Nah I don't think humans and animals should have romantic feelings for eachother, that's a pretty big problem.

HONESTLY let's look at the sonic 06 story with the ONLY change being no more ellise. Silver and Shadow's routes in the games are pretty good, but without ellise you would need to rework Sonic's entire story, meaning he has actual time to develope relationships with his teamates in the game rather than them just being token characters. Maybe he has more involvment with Mephilis, because if you think about it his only interaction is when he dies. Honestly there are a ton of possibilities if you remove all of that awkward and contrived eillise screentime.
Why!? Why can't humans be in this rewritten story!? I see literary no reason why humans and anthropomorphic animals other than Sonic and Co. can't just live together in both Sonic's dimension and the Sol Dimension!?

@@Garrulous64 No, they have not. Humans have been a part of the series from the very start AND they make the storylines better with their presence. Sonic Elise is a beautiful relationship BECAUSE he's a non Human person (Person meaning he's a Human Being on the inside in his Spirit meaning he's not a real life hedgehog but a fictional race of man that resembles one) and she's a regular Human person. It's a beautiful expression of Love being all that matters and that appearance doesn't matter.
The Sonic series takes place in the real world and always has according to Japanese Sonic Bible Lore and the manuals for the Megadrive games. Madonna was a part of Sonic 1's story till the very end where they scrapped her because they didn't feel like they could do justice to her character in the storyline. They had realistic Humans in the series from the start so they should always be there.
The only thing in this story that needs a complete rewrite is how easily Silver and Blaze are tricked by Mephiles and how inconsistent Blaze's portrayal is in the first and latter half of the storyline. Everything else works just fine barring a few minor things needing elaboration (Like where the Tornado is and why Tails isn't using it.) There is NO reason to overhaul the storyline and it's disrespectful to Shiro Maekawa, Yuji Naka, Naoto Oshima, and Kiyoko Yoshimura (The creators of the Sonic canon) to act as if there's something inherently wrong with their ideas. They decide whether something fits or not, not you, and they decided it fit from the start.

It really seems Melphelis is the puppet master behind this plan. but I do think Eggman is gonna have his hand in on the energy spikes perhaps it due to Iblis (Aka; The Fames of Desaster ) and maybe a certain someone is somehow connected to it.

I don't mind this change of the 06 Plot but for my Rewrite; Elise is still the princess but a Princess that will protect her city and people even from Eggman. She isn't kidnapped like a knock off Princess Peach but Iblis is sealed inside a thing called the "Staff of Flame". With Eilse and Sonic having a Brother/Sister Relationship (Like Shadow and Maria) and Mephiles flushed out. And the Time Stones and Lttle Planet are also back from Sonic CD. So Team Sonic along side Elise. Race against the clock to stop Eggman getting both scepter of darkness and staff of flame.

Hmm, I am looking forward to this rewrite. I've fan-authored a Sonic '06 rewrite myself, only I crossed it over with Final Fantasy X/X-2.
Aha, I'm not the only one who saw the obvious solution of replacing Elise with Blaze, a princess who doesn't suck, isn't just a damsel in distress, and already existed in the game franchise!

What can I say, Garrulous64? Your Sonic 06 fix is more than wonderful! I admit, I myself had similar ideas about replacing Elise Blaze, although my thoughts were different from yours:
1. No time travel. This idea in itself is more than good, but at the same time it gives rise to many plot holes. Therefore, I would completely abandon it and build a plot in the present.
2. Solleana remained the city of the world of Sonic, but there were no people in it. Blaze would be the ruler of the city.
3. Silver in this scenario is the young bodyguard Blaze and part of the Solleana guard, which includes the hedgehog telepath Gold (concurrently, Silver’s older brother, who helped him get into the guard), the smasher wolf Bronze, whom it’s impossible to injure, the marten-electrokinetic Copper and orangutan Iron, the oldest guardsman, their leader and mentor, capable of creating powerful protective fields (such as those that appeared in Sonic when he carried Elise in his arms). The fact that he is from the future is only the result of the manipulations of Mefiles, who convinced him of this by faking memories and set him against Blaze in order to strengthen her negativity and bring the girl closer to Sonic.
3. Mefiles, significantly weakened due to the loss of time manipulation, would become what he was - Solaris, or rather his mind without power. He could inhabit the bodies of others and control them like puppets. For example, he moved into Gold and used his telepathy to manipulate others - Dr. Eggman, who attacked Solleana, Silver, who was knocked out and left defenseless during Eggman’s attack, and others who did not have a strong personality to resist suggestion, and the Chaos Emerald whose energy interfered with the manipulation of the mind. All this was done for one purpose - to break the seal of Blaise, which carried the strength of Solaris and his power. And the only way to break the seal (which also did not allow Solaris to enter the girl) is to bring her to complete despair when strong negative emotions feed the flame and allow him to escape to freedom. As a method, he chose the most effective - love. Make Sonic and Blaze fall in love with each other as a result of manipulation and then kill Sonic in front of the princess - what is not an ideal option for complete despair?
4. Sonic, like your correction of the story, went to Solleana along with Tails on a tip from Knuckles, to whom the Master Emerald sent bad visions. And the original goal of the hedgehog was to try to catch Eggman and make him answer for the attack and victims in Solleana, while trying to unravel the visions. Although, as a result, between him and Blaze (I interpret Sonic's story 06 as an alternative, and therefore Sonic and Blaze had not met in it before) feelings flared up and the matter acquired a personal character.
5. Knuckles acted as a truth seeker, trying to unravel visions and essentially replaces Shadow.
6. One of the roles in history was to play Metal Sonic of a new model with AI. He would understand what was happening with his master and tried to save him, which would lead to the same side with Sonic and end in a selfless death for the sake of the creator.
7. Amy was not in history, since she did not play a special role.
8. The modified BlaZe initially could not properly use the flame of Solaris and was a rather reserved and lonely girl, on whose shoulders there was a burden of responsibility. But thanks to Sonic and their relationships, she learned to manage her abilities and changed, becoming more open and sincere.

Well, you saw the video. Indeed it is. In more ways than 1.
Here’s what I think Sonic 06 should be:
1. instead of Elise be a main character in the game she should be a side character, reduced to a child and be with her father still. A grownup version of Elise lives in Silver’s future and is one of his closest friends trying to set the future right. She gives him a Time Stone (like in Sonic CD) to time travel and remind him that no matter how important it is to make a better future, she reminds him to do the right thing.
2. Instead of Eggman trying to create the Solaris prototype, it’s actually Eggman Nega disguised as Eggman to rule the future instead. He has a device that can make him travel between dimensions (hence the reason he was in Blaze’s world) because he needed the Sol or Chaos Emeralds to control time and space. He wants to erase his foes and Eggman for ruining his reputation and be known as the true greatest scientific genius in the world. This will cause Eggman to team up with Sonic and Stop Eggman Nega from erasing both their existences.
3.The reason why Blaze will be in the Story is that she finds out about Eggman Nega’s dimensional device and follows him to Silver’s timeline. She then teams up with Silver to stop him, and finds out that she cares a fraction of Iblis’s power of flames.
4. Elise’s role is replaced by another character, who is her longtime nanny and friend, and another animal character(not sure if she should be a bird character or a dolphin character cause Soleanna is the city of water). She is actually a timeline guardian meant to stop anyone from causing chaos in the timeline be it mortal or god like being. But the Solaris project disaster caused her to loose her memory and lived as a regular person serving Elise. But thanks to Sonic and the others, she regains her memories bit by bit, find other time stones and use them to help Stop Eggman Nega and Solaris in the final battle. But must return to her duties as a guardian and erase herself from everyone’s memories. But returns in sequels like generations if needed.

Sonic and Knuckles getting into a tussle only to be bonked on the head by Amy's hammer while Tails tries to keep calm, Tails questioning Sonic's choice of words when he uses the term 'house call' and saying that Eggman's name was written on it like "a tacky red sharpie", and Amy and Knuckles getting into an arguing match which leads to them going in opposite directions. The Team Sonic plus Amy interactions are hilarious.
