not exactly sure, but i think people have always wanted a forever world, but the audience for it wasn't huge, i think the audience shifted and now its getting bigger. there have been a lot of forever worlds people who have like 10+ years, and now the audience is watching it so thats what i think.
My forever world sucks. I'm doing a 1.19.2 modpack, and mkst of my builds are garbage and random and I've barely made any progress. EDIT: I wanna apologize for how out of hand I took this comment, I wasn't in the right headspace when I said all this.

@@JessShyin Well, I plan on making a village and a bar in an underground mine. But my base looks so garbage. It's just an ugly oak rectangle. And there are so many blocks, and I feel like I should stick with a specific palette but I don't know what. It's all overwhelming, and every video on Forever World's I've seen are all better than me.
@@J0shyJosh1105 i'm sorry it's tough, i've been there many times. All you can do is just focus on your journey and do step by step. one build focus on a wall. next build focus on a roof, its always easier said then done. I hope you get where you want to some day
