- Skylanders is a game I've known about for years, but I never got the chance to play it, so in this video, I finally got the chance to play and Platinum it (Spyro's Adventure specifically)! Did I think it was worth playing? Watch the video and find out! Hope you enjoy!

@@vampiremax2568 I just got Swap Force for the 3DS last year, took a break and now I'm trying to complete it with all the second hand figures my mom got me from a thrift store she volunteers at! Very fun Pocket-Sized experience!!
Fun fact about skylanders: when they level up, some enemies get hit by a shockeave and killed instantly so when asking why that happened: thats why. I cant wait for you to complete trap team and imaginators as theres much more to unlock. If you want more of a challenge then make sure to get the adventure packs and complete all the stars and villians quests. Then youll really be goated.
also, when they lvl up, they'll get full health again. nice to see some skylander OG's.

Skylanders is not just ANY toy-to-life game, it was the pioneer of the whole concept. It was an amazing series that I'm sad may not return
these games are my childhood, it’s nice seeing someone experience them for the first time. if you end up enjoying the rest of the series, i’d highly recommend playing disney infinity, it’s better than skylanders imo.

Ahhh, it's always so very nice to see someone have their first experience with this franchise in this day and age. These games were a huge part of my childhood and I am so glad to see people still being introduced to this series to this day.

The final boss rage was gold, I remember when I had to defeat him with only the three starters but I couldn’t. I got dino-range and defeated him and felt that I save the world. Also awesome video. hope you do another one with Giants and swap force.

heroic challenges can be done with any character, that's not a glitch or anything
even if this video doesnt take off id recommend doing the second game giants at least because its the best game in the series
edit: also you only need to buy one new figure being a giant (id recommend tree rex or hot head) and you can carry over everything else from the last game

Skylanders is an amazing game. It's one of my favourite games and I still have the collection of characters
if you plan on doing the other skylanders titles here is what the stats mean
Armor is for every 6 points increase the chance of taking no damage from a hit by 1%
Luck is critical damage (6 points is 1%), which is more than just a damage booster it can also cause a gold, XP, or Food to have increased effects
Crit Hit is self explanatory
Elemental Power is how much bonus damage a Skylander does while in an elemental zone that matches their element, Eon often tells you when the element changes and an image of the element is usually up in one of the corners of the screen
I do hope that the series can be remastered, because I do enjoy the differences compared the original
I still remember that I was stuck using the starter pack trio for the longest time because I didn’t have any other elements and getting stuck on Dark Water Cove

stealth elf is insanly broken thats all i can remeber of this game i always had a blast playing it as a kiddo
you are able to do any Heroic Challenge with any skylander from the get go
you do not have to use the specific Skylander that the challenge came from
BUT the stat boost from completing the HC only aplies to the Skylander(s) that cleared it
Just a tip if you’re going for the Giants Plat. You’re gonna need more Skylanders. Ghost Roaster especially as he can make ones where you need to avoid hazards super easy as he just phases through them at the price of a small portion of his health
Also great vid. Also I know you already did the plat but for any trophies that need to be done during boss fights like the lasers if you touch the laser just have one of your Skylanders die and restart chapter. This would just take you to the beginning of the boss fight. Definitely helps make it easier.
yea i restarted at the bosses like you said, i just didnt mention it, though on that stealth elf fail i had to restart the whole thing, so that made me more mad lol
skylanders works pretty simple, things from previous games work in later games, things from later games don't work with previous games, so swap force and trap team gill grunt don't work in this game.

Even if there are no trophies involved, I'd love to see how you tackle the portable versions of these games which have their own stories and unique game-play aspects.
Maybe instead of getting the trophies, you could try to 100% the stories of each (I'm not expecting you to collect all the figures if you don't want to)

just an fyi the third game in the series skylanders swap force, platinum trophy is unobtainable thanks to a single online trophy, and the worst thing is all u needed to do was talk to a signpost in the hub area

Ahhh this takes me back, while my skylanders experience was short lived I adored this first game
Looking at a list of the characters from the first game I know I have probably like 80% of them still in my attic along with the portal. Played the heck out of this game I think my trophy’s are like 80% or so. I should go get them down and replay it now. Although I don’t have the game anymore so must have sold that.

Out but read a comment here that one game had an online trophy that’s unobtainable now which is a shame. Maybe I’ll get a copy of this and giants and just plat the ones I played as a kid

I never got to own skylanders as a kid because my dad didn't want to be spending money on basically collectibles. I've played it but only at friends houses. But now as an adult I have my own money and can waste it on the characters 😂 so I actually just ordered this game a few days ago

I remember getting the first skylander game one day when I was home sick, played it like 3 times and then forced my dad to return it. Had gotten som weird fear that the game would like freeze and fuck up my tv. Did buy the skylander giants later tho and that wasnt a problem.

I remember on Christmas Day opening up my first starter pack for Skylanders trap team Wii u version and before that I had just opened up my Wii u and before that I had just a bunch of random Skylanders for the 3DS version of swap force and Giants Skylanders is probably one of my favorite games how much I miss my old collection

You need to beat every skylander game
Major shame that not all of the games are platinumable. Swap force has a trophy that was online only so, unless it was obtained before the servers went down in 2019(?), it's the only game you can't plat. The other 5 tho are perfectly good to complete.
completing a Heroic challenge will give the skylander that completed it a permanent stat increase
Skylanders Giants is similar to the wii version of ssa gameplay wise but the controls are the same except that you mash triangle to open gift boxes and chests

I started with giants back In the day and I wanna pick up a Wii U (I have a reason I swear)

All of these games are fun and pretty easy ats just so you know giants trap team and imaginators will require 2 playthroughs while superchargers you unlock nightmare mode straight away so only one but awap force isnt platinumalble as online servers shut down 5 yeara ago and you need it for a trophy
