I did a few years ago. I have trouble getting a long enough season here in zone 7 and you have to have the male and female plants flowing at the same time and hand pollinate them since this is no pollinator here in zone 7.

@@sweethomealabamahomestead4504 Thank you for the update
I spread a packet of variety seed about 10 years ago around an old fence line>>I have mulberry everywhere>>>>Mulberry are easily propigated>>This year I am trying it's cousin>>>CHE TREE...Easily propigated just like Mulberry
Yes you can grow them here in zone 7. Right on the border so some year I don't get any fruit some years I do. Still working out the best way to get them to grow good here.
that mulberry is loaded. my "dwarf" mulberry didn't sprout this spring. not sure what happened but will have to try again. the fruit kinda sucked though it was tiny.
@@sweethomealabamahomestead4504 nice, how long did it take for them to fruit? there's so many trees growing wild around town, might just clip a branch and go from there but if I can plant seeds might try that too
Thank for your sharing, did you get fruits from that gak female plant? Thanks

Each one of my trees are different in taste and berry size, but all came from one mother tree.
