Just to get little clarity,, first section where you uploaded file and it required (Extract FPS information) that would be your existing firepower (IPS) module of ASA not the destination FMC?? Because you said matching with upload asa config so this would FPS (FirePower Service) currently not the destination FMC..
how can I by pass the "connection" to FMC session? , the session right before "interface mapping". you need to "connect" to the FMC. Which is NOT been deployed as yet. However, without it, I can not move on to the next step.?? Is there a way to pass the FMC connection part? thanks
I don't have an answer to this, but I spun up an FMC and FTD in VMWare Workstation and pointed the migration tool there. When the migration tool and necessary manual migrations are finished I'll export those configs.
This is very helpful and will save our time for migration
Thank you. We are glad it helped.

Well explained
Thanks you.

Hey, how long take this stage ( Collecting FPS Device)?
Bonjour, Puis-je avoir une image FTD 6.6.x s'il vous plait?

Can this tool be used with ASA's without FPS to push to FTD's?
Yes. Firewall Migration Tool (cisco.com/go/fmt) helps migrate ASA & 3rd party to FTD.
still good info... and I "liked" it... :)
Perfect.
Migrating to ftd is showing no ftd
