I love how his victory pose is the Dance from Spiderman 3
I remember and recognize that too. It was the dance Peter did after he reported Eddie Brock for making that fake photo of Spider-Man.
It's the fact that it's his Marvel vs Capcom moveset that makes it even better.
A lot of these animations are smoother than I expected

This is one of the coolest things I've seen!! I really want Spider-Man to be in an official Smash Bros. Game so badly now. Moveset, animation & all!
I doubt another smash bros will ever happen let alone disney giving the rights to use spiderman in an off brand game
At first I thought it’s strange as he would’ve fit in with the PlayStation All-Stars PS1 Cast. But the more I thought of it, he actually fits into Smash really well. Spider-Man has been around throughout Gaming History since the 80s, and a lot of his famous games (Or at-least his oldest games that are known to fans and Spidey history.) were either on Nintendo consoles or SEGA’s (but mostly on SEGA’s consoles.)
So because Spider-Man has had games on Nintendo Platforms for years up until Smash 64’s release, with Neversoft’s Spider-Man coming out on the N64 a year after Smash 64, I’d say him being on Smash Bros Remix, was an Amazing Decision… maybe even a Sensational Decision… or maybe it’s a Spectacular Decision.
after smash 64 or melee they stopped caring about the so called all stars title, but it really didn't make sense Spiderman wasn't in it

Please Remix Dev team, make him an official character 😭🙏🏼🤞 this mod is so well done and with a little more polish he'd be a perfect addition. He did have his own N64 hood classic after all on top of dozens of other classic Nintendo games (Maximum Carnage, Marvel Superheroes War of the Gems, and another dozen gameboy games). Dude technically meets the requirements more than Sonic. Make it happen guys 😩🤞

What’s funny is that I had a Nintendo power poster featuring characters from smash like Mario and ganondorf. On that same poster I had a tiny spider man sticker on it.

@@64ios Question for you: Is there anyway to modify the game to allow us to use x/y to jump and shield/L-cancel with L? This is how the controls work in the wii virtual console version of the game. Its hard to undo 20 years of practice and health problems don't make it easy for me to use the c-stick. Plus the x/y buttons are closer to the N64 c buttons anyhow. Any help would be awesome if you know of a way to modify the game to allow gamecube button remapping. I know the devs don't want it, but me and my brother are the only two people who play it and we don't play online so I don't see the harm.
