The ADS sens is designed to slow your sens down when you ADS to adjust for the change in FOV when you're aiming down sights versus when you're hipfiring. Personally, I wouldn't recommend changing it. I know people that run a slightly lower multiplier or slightly higher depending on their preference, but the overwhelming majority of pros leave it at default.

Nice video! I've been trying KnM for the first time... It's such a huge transition, my keyboard hand gets so lost during fights that I end up barely being able to move.
Yeah it can get hard having all the extra keys to get used to. If you have a friend that has some extra time, consider going into firing range and practicing as much moving and fighting while 1v1ing them. THIS. My fingers get lost all the time. Especially during ADS. I think I need to switch my ADS from toggle to hold. Toggle just isn’t fast enough and I get stuck in ADS while people are shooting me. Then to make things worse, my finger get lost lol.
Okay, I never make comments like this and I would never lie about doing something spectacular BUT I took the advice of this video and lowered my aim down to 2.0 on a DPI of 800. The first game I did after dropping my mouse sensitivity, I accomplished something I have never done in an Apex legends game before and I took out an entire squad by myself in succession. After that, my mid to long range aim was like a laser. All my shots were dead accurate and the only reason I went down In that game is because me and my only squad partner got sandwiched between two squads. I got 4 kills and at least 6 knocks for that game too. Thank you for this video.
Wow. So awesome to hear that! Hope you enjoy your newfound accuracy! And don't be afraid to play around with it and adjust it if you feel in later games that you're too slow or too fast, it's all about being comfortable. Glad to hear i could help! ❤

As much as i would like to use fingertip grip, cos it yields most mouse control overall (mikro adjustments with fingers or wrist and big movements with arm), i can't use it, cos i use side buttons as my abilities. There are no free keybinds for me to use comfortably for my abilities. I am not those types of people, who use their pinky or ring finger to hit z, x or c, i use my thumb, so those don't work. E is melee, cos it is useful a lot, q is inventory, cos i find getting in the inventory fast and comfortable is crutial in this game and c is my crouch, v - fire mode. Not much to choose from. Is it worth to switch to fingertip from palm/claw grips in order to maximise control, but risk having abilities in shit keyboard placements or should i just keep it as is?
Well personally I use my side buttons as my tactical (Q) and for pulling up the heal wheel, but I just move my thumb slightly up to press it and then back down to my normal grip...there aren't many situations where I'd need to use my mouse button while I'm also aiming and shooting, and if so, I just use my q key... I use tab for inventory so that could potentially free up your Q without having to use the z, x, or c keys
@@Hybridify aight. Btw, you should do a video on a feature with auto sprint. Since the source engine is used to run the game, there is a command in settings file, that can make the person, using auto run, to use shift as walk. So you hold L-shift or any running bind and can walk. You don't tap, you hold. This could be a very useful feature for CS:GO or Fortnite players, since the characters in those games mainly run. I haven't seen ANYONE make a video on it and would be great to hear your thoughts on it, cos, personally, using L-shift in this game and needing to tap and hold crouch for certain moves is annoying and hard and strains the arm. Keep up the great work!
I use about 7 sens since season 2 and every single game I play,I play it with high sens, here's something I wanna tell u,it's rlly hard to learn high sens it took me almost 5 yrs of gaming to get to where I am rn

Gonna build a pc soon. This was helpful. Edit: my dad was strongly discouraging me to buy the parts for my pc and come Christmas I get a gaming pc. Apex has been great on pc. So much more fun on pc than PS4.
bro this whole video is about mouse and sensitivity... what I am struggling with is the keyboard part and how to correctly use wasd, like when should I combine w and s, or w and d and when I should use just w and mouse look around as appose to a multi letter combo... a video containing this would be the ultimate guide and when I learn kbm for real if there still isn't one I'mma make one myself
well, I've been playing on the IBM PC and compatibles since the 80s....with the original IBM PC, Model 5150 from 1981 (Model F keyboard), there were no dedicated arrow keys (no FPS back then either), so we would usually use the arrow keys on the numeric keypad. Since the advent of the PC/AT keyboard in 1984 and later the beloved Model M keyboard in 1987, there were dedicated arrow keys, so for many years we were using that. Eventually the idea came around to use WASD. Reason being that keys you might use to enter special modes or use special weapons are typically going to be closer to your movement keys. Normally, W = forward A = backward S = step left D = step right spacebar = jump Alt or Ctrl = crouch/duck/crawl Mouse = look/set direction/aim mouse left button = primary fire right button = secondary fire mouse scroll wheel = select weapon So S and D are more to dodge enemy fire and position yourself to go up a ladder or jump. In some games like Xonotic if you hold down spacebar you accelerate (go faster and faster until you let spacebar go, you hit something or somebody shoots you). Change direction/look in another direction is normally done with the mouse. So yeah, most of the time you would just go forward with W and look and shoot with the mouse, occasionally jumping with the spacebar or dodging with S and D. Hope that helps :)
I started playing m&k not too long ago and I feel really comfortable now playing the game, but I just have one issue, I have a big keyboard (Corsair) and when I’m looting people I see all the good players looting really fast, and I can barely reach my esc button and not only that but the key is really small. Is there any way I can change that key bind or something else. Btw great vid.
fantastic vid i was wonder should i buy kovaaks i use aimlab right now and it really hasn't helped much at all and some other pros have said that aimlab is not a really good aim trainer what do you recommend
I would definitely recommend kovaaks as it can be customized more and has better scenarios. I do have a video on kovaaks if you want to check that out, it may help you! Otherwise, there's tons of guides on youtube to help you out!
A few days ago I hit diamond IV, I am completely stuck, everyone has good aim , my random teammates do what they want, and I’m losing gun fights more than I’m winning them. I play on controller and I’m ready to switch to mouse/keyboard for improved mobility & improved aim. I constantly feel like controller just isn’t enough. Today marks the day I completely switch to mouse and keyboard I’ll update in the comments to let you guys know my progression. Keyboard: Corsair K70 RGB MK.2 Special Edition Mouse: Logitech G502
Day 1, it’s like I haven’t played apex before in my life. Decided to only use the wingman and peacekeeper for high risk high reward style of play, I can definitely feel my movement is a lot more smoother than when using a controller, recoil control is impressive, pubs is enjoyable, ranked is suicide

Idk if your still replying but for some reason when I'm tracking targets my hand kind of gets stuck,is it palm grip ? Or should I just use my whole arm
Thank you for the video. I am building a pc for the first time and I want to play apex eventually. Anyway, I was wondering if you had any recommendations for monitors? I want a 240Hz but I also want to be able to do content creation. Photo and video editing.
I haven't used a 240Hz yet so I don't have any good recommendations for you, mine is a 144Hz. I would just recommend something with low latency and if you're doing video/photo editing you want to pay attention to the color and display specifications because most high end gaming monitors give up deep color/quality for speed. Maybe get a dedicated gaming monitor and then one for photo/video editing so you don't have to compromise
Found this video very helpful, my only thing is I'm great with my the keys on my mouse to the point I have most things set on it, I also have small hands. Switching from a controller is hard cause I'm so fluid with a controller. Are there downsides to having my mouse buttons controller my ult, tactical, heals, and etc? I feel super slow trying to "reach" on a keyboard compared to moving my thumb to a spot I know. I do come from having keybinds for different main spell on wow so it just feels comfortable to me.
The only thing is just that whenever you have to press a button on a mouse, you want it to not mess up your aim during a fight. Heals and abilities won't hurt to be on a mouse if you're comfortable, as long as you can click those buttons without changing your mouse grip and having to reposition your hand!

Thank you!!
Very informative, thx man
Happy to help!
I'm gonna be switching from console to pc soon I hope I can get good on it. BTW good vid
Thank you and good luck!
@@Hybridify Just started playing on pc it takes time to get good lol
You are a life saver!
Appreciate it ❤
I just got a PC and this is very helpful 😩
Happy to hear that!! ❤
This helped a lot! A problem I ran into that I can’t find help on is when I need to turn a full 180 degrees my wrist gets kind of stuck lol
You might be pressing down too hard and anchoring your wrist in place. Try just gliding your arm across the pad to do that 180
Hybridify Thankyou! You’re awesome:)
Hybridify quick update! It got a lot easier and natural:) Thankyou!
@@findrose3590 Good! I'm really glad to hear that! Thanks for the update!
I really enjoyed this video thanks for uploading 💙😀
Of course! Thanks for watching ❤
ONGG YOUR SO HELPFULL THANKK YOUUUU
You're welcome :)
I've heard this from someone else too..ill look into it, thanks
This is awesome!
I use about 7 sens since season 2 and every single game I play,I play it with high sens, here's something I wanna tell u,it's rlly hard to learn high sens it took me almost 5 yrs of gaming to get to where I am rn

That's what we love to hear! Glad to see the fast improvement!
@@Hybridify thx for the advise and ide love to see u hit 50k soon :)
Gonna build a pc soon. This was helpful.
Edit: my dad was strongly discouraging me to buy the parts for my pc and come Christmas I get a gaming pc. Apex has been great on pc. So much more fun on pc than PS4.
That's super awesome! Tell your dad thank you and that you love him. Those parts aren't cheap!
Brooo u earned my respect n a sub thx A LOT BRO!! Keep up the useful content
Means a ton thank you!
bro is cracked at the game W mans
bro this whole video is about mouse and sensitivity... what I am struggling with is the keyboard part and how to correctly use wasd, like when should I combine w and s, or w and d and when I should use just w and mouse look around as appose to a multi letter combo... a video containing this would be the ultimate guide and when I learn kbm for real if there still isn't one I'mma make one myself
well, I've been playing on the IBM PC and compatibles since the 80s....with the original IBM PC, Model 5150 from 1981 (Model F keyboard), there were no dedicated arrow keys (no FPS back then either), so we would usually use the arrow keys on the numeric keypad.
Normally,
W = forward
A = backward
S = step left
D = step right
spacebar = jump
Alt or Ctrl = crouch/duck/crawl
Mouse = look/set direction/aim
mouse left button = primary fire
right button = secondary fire
mouse scroll wheel = select weapon
So S and D are more to dodge enemy fire and position yourself to go up a ladder or jump.
I just switched to mouse and keyboard the only pain I get is my left pinky when I press ctrl or shift after while. But not bad enough to make me stop
You'll probably get used to that soon enough. If you don't then it can hurt to try out different keybinds for those keys.
Yeah there are a few other buttons that close out of your menu, E and tab I think tab is what I use
How do you not have like a million subs! Great content man!
Thank you! 😭❤ means a lot to me ❤
@@Hybridify Always happy to support quality man :) Much love!
Yo thanks for the video man I’m currently transfering to pc
I've got a lot of videos on improvement on PC so hopefully those help you and i wish you luck! If you have any questions let me know!!
Great video, was looking for something like this tutorial. What moise do you recommend for a starter mouse?
Logitech g305 is cheap but a little heavy. If you have money try the gpro superlight/gpro wireless. And if you want small try the hati s wireless
@@Hybridify Thanks!
Thank you, I'm making the switch to pc
Good luck ❤
Thx!!

fantastic vid i was wonder should i buy kovaaks i use aimlab right now and it really hasn't helped much at all and some other pros have said that aimlab is not a really good aim trainer what do you recommend
I would definitely recommend kovaaks as it can be customized more and has better scenarios. I do have a video on kovaaks if you want to check that out, it may help you! Otherwise, there's tons of guides on youtube to help you out!
Just started playing mnk today and I gotta say
It’s painful, I am in constant agony but I want give up😭
It gets better i promise ❤
I’m Feeling the pain right now
@@billybob-fw3vr enjoy it I shattered my keyboard💀💀
I like higher sense, but find it hard with snipers and the wingman, but great for auto weapons. Do I also adjust the individual ADS settings?
you could but you're best off just getting used to the high sens with the weapons it's harder for. you'll adapt if you practice enough I think
If u didnt find out an answer yet do advanced sense and you will find it
Very helpful
Thank you!
Thanks!
You're welcome!!
Keyboard: Corsair K70 RGB MK.2 Special Edition
Mouse: Logitech G502
Day 1, it’s like I haven’t played apex before in my life. Decided to only use the wingman and peacekeeper for high risk high reward style of play, I can definitely feel my movement is a lot more smoother than when using a controller, recoil control is impressive, pubs is enjoyable, ranked is suicide
Keep up the grind, honestly. You'll thank yourself later. ❤
@@Hybridify I use arenas to help prepare me for close range engagements to test out different sensitivities. Thank you for making such an awesome guide video it helped a lot!
Hey man I just subbed and liked
Thank you!!
Just moved from cntlr to m&k.. total brain failure occurs every game once panic sets in XD and I forget all key bindings. Practice makes perfect, no one is perfect, so we are always practicing.
That's the right mentality. You'll succeed in the transition, I know it!
your channel is amazing and you are so underrated !
your videos helped me realise a lot of things. i dropped a sub with notis on
Means so much to me, thank you for the support!! ❤
Idk if your still replying but for some reason when I'm tracking targets my hand kind of gets stuck,is it palm grip ? Or should I just use my whole arm
Make sure you're not planting your wrist into your mousepad and also whole arm aiming is usually more accurate so you can try that for sure
@@Hybridify thank you I appreciate the info
Good vid bro
Thanks man!
Heals and abilities won't hurt to be on a mouse if you're comfortable, as long as you can click those buttons without changing your mouse grip and having to reposition your hand!
if you are a newb (like me) this video is *mwa* chef's kiss
Haha glad you enjoyed ❤
