Paseka above Maroney ? CRIMINAL Also that 2016 Vault from Simone is one of my all time favorites. The distance, the shape of the arch and her amplitude are poetry in motion. To me, it’s the most visually stunning vault in this line up. Her twisting is balletic. The landing ❤ oh that landing.
My list based entirely on vibes (mix of results, ability, and originality): 1) Simone Biles 2) Rebeca Andrade 3) Oksana Chusovitina 4) McKayla Maroney 5) Simona Amanar 6) Cheng Fei 7) Elena Zamolodchikova 8) Monica Rosu 9) Hong Un Jong 10) Natalia Yurchenko 11) Vera Caslavska 12) Yeo Seojeong 13) Elena Shushunova 14) Elena Produnova 15) Mo Huilan 16) Jade Carey
McKayla would be Nr. 3 on my list and Jade def. in the top 10. Great list though, just counting medals doesn't do them justice. In the olden days, the vaults look ridiculously easy compared to now. Sure, they were world class at their time, there's no denying that but saying Person A is better than B just because she won more medals is questionable.
@@mariusa.5863 Interesting conversation! Chusovitina and Maroney are very close in my eyes: both Olympic silver medalists and world champions. In Maroney's advantage she has the superior form, technique, and height, and a second world championship. Chuso has the longevity (most world/Olympic medals on any event), the age she won that Olympic silver at 33 also being a record, but I think she gets the edge due to having the Rudi vault that she originated (although I know Alter competed it first). Similarly I put Zamolodchikova ahead of Rosu and Hong (despite their superior Amanars) because all three won Oly gold, but Zamo originated the tsuk double and was the second to do the Amanar - on the old horse. I couldn't put Carey in the top 10 due to lack of originality even though she has the longevity and the power, and I also feel like the competition in 2022 when she won vault gold was pretty shallow. The top nine are all Olympic champions or Chuso/Maroney/Cheng, then Yurchenko in 10th truly revolutionized vault (and would have easily won gold in 1984). Caslavska won 16 straight international vault golds from 1963-1968 - she really was a level ahead of the competition at the time, moreso than Carey in 2017-2024. Seojeong has the Yeo vault and the best Rudi ever, although at Worlds she's less consistent than Jade. Shushunova was incredibly dominant outside of the Olympics and originated the DTY. Produnova doesn't have the medals but was the only one who ever truly landed the Produnova properly, two decades before Simone did the next double flipping vault. I could maybe see an argument for Jade over Mo Huilan one spot higher, but tbh Mo's DTY off the horse is better than Jade's off the table 25 years later. I believe Moreover, Mo really was one of the top two vaulters alongside Amanar in 1995-1996 and certainly could have won the gold both years with a stick, while I don't think Jade was ever in contention for gold really at either Tokyo or Paris Olympics. But that one is close enough to go either way.

Nadia Comaneci?
Nadia Comaneci wasn't a particular great vaulter. She won the majority of her titles on bars and beam.
"best vaulters"? No. The ones with most wins, yes. Currently, Rebeca is the best vaulter. By far. Simone only beats her because of difficulty. But Rebeca's form/technique is superior. Paseka and Carey should never be considered for a "best vaulters" list.
Be for real! Simone beats her in difficulty and execution. Rebecca competes the Cheng vault. Simone did that vault years ago. Simone has 2 vaults named after her, Rebecca competes someone else’s vault..
lol Simone is a better vaulter than Andrade. Andrade does a beautiful cheng but Simone has a better Amanar and 2 other extremely difficult vaults that Andrade can’t even attempt
A lot of shit vaults and no produnova, what a bullshit
This list is shit. There are so many better vaulters that should be on here instead of some of these others. And no Shannon Miller??? Really?
Well, she has medals in every single event but Vault. And this video is about medals
Rebeca not being #1 is craaaazyyy
@bryan-tm4bl ela é forte mas ela não tem a execução e perfeição da Rebeca. Rebeca é a melhor saltadora de longe.
@bryan-tm4bl agora tira os anos de lesões da Rebeca da conta. Simone come poeira.
@bryan-tm4bl todas as execuções da Rebeca em Paris foram melhores que da Biles. Acorde kk
she can’t stick it like Mckayla she should be number 1
@bryan-tm4blsimone is not number 1
A bit bias. Rebecca had clips of 6 vaults, others had five, if that. Some had two or three. Also, Mckayla should have been in the top ten. Fei 8th, Sacramone - 24th, really? Oh, by the way, Rebecca is a bit overrated. Too robotic.
It's not a personal ranking, the placements are based only on Medals. If it was a personal raking my top 3 would be Biles, Rebeca and Maroney
@@Vistor-Guest Bias? Chusovitina had 9 clips, Rebeca 5, Simone 5. They had a lot of clips because they made the top 5. I just didn’t put a lot of clips from Vera because we would have 5 front pike
Rebeca ❤
