I’m so surprised this band has 2 Bari sax players, 1 contrabassoon and what looks like 1 contra-alto clarinet and 2 bass clarinets with the low extensions!
Maybe they didn’t have an open holed flute 🤷♂️ personally I don’t have/use one but that’s mainly because I’m a percussion main/I don’t have the money, but if I played in a big band (like the one in the video) then I would be using one for sure, I just don’t get why she wouldn’t have one, unless I’m just overthinking this

its great but its really out of balance. trumpet players also kept messing up

As a flute player, if everyone is playing loud, and the flutes are still louder than the brass, than there is a problem…

I though the same, and supposedly this guys should be the best of the best. Also, there is a lot of imbalance, like... they don't work on dynamics
