@@ziakhan-qw9zi yes I think so, as it was more than 45 years ago, but I remember near this cinema there were quite a few other cinema houses, and I believe this movie was in colour too. All these cinema house were located behind the old Tram depot.
@@hamin31 Yes you'r right you saw this movie in Rivollee cinema and next to Rivollee, Eroze, Kaiser, Nasheiman, Afshan, Godien Cinema and then Tram depow it's now Gul shoping centre, unfortunately there is no cinemas any more all appartments all cinemas were Demolished about 18 years ago, so sad but, it was v famous road Maristen road, now Waheed Murrad road, film star Javaid Shaikh use to live opp Nasheman cinema, l grew up in this area nea Jubilee Cinema I have a lots of memories
@@ziakhan-qw9zi I used to go to Nasra School, went to BVS Parsi School before, i.e I am familiar with the neighbourhood. Unfortunately or fortunately I have been out of the country for more than 31 years. I also watched Nadeem’s movie Pechan in Afshan cinema. Yes Javed sheikh used to live and his brother too near Jubliee Cinema. I have seen Javed Sheiks brother few times in that area. I lived near Soldier Bazar just opposite Nishter park since late sixties, in one of those Pre-Partion houses - best neighbourhood ever, but went down the drain since mid 80s. Thanks for reviving my memory.
Ohkay so the first half of the film or let's say the part until Bholi (Aliya) doesn't go to the Mehal was super cute. Shehzad's character for a change was layered and not one dimensional. I would have preferred this film to be a love story then a lust for money where subtly the changes in Shehzad's character could have been shown which would have been brought about by Bholi's love. Also it would have been pretty okay if Bholi wasn't actually the princess because the last scene looked a bit forced. Film was somewhat unconventional and unpredictable and hence likeable. Performances were pretty cute especially Waheed Murad's, Lehri's and Aliya's. Waheed Murad looked handsome and this role was actually different from his other roles. The negative streak just added more charm and as always he was flawless. 💞
