Awesome video.
"Amazing."love it. ❤️😃
It's not a secret if you're from Cape Town, it's dam water by the way
A friend told about this place 15 years ago but never got to visit while I was in the mother city, so thanks for sharing
Cape Town is the best place in the world. So just enjoy the scienery. Its beautiful😊
It's harder to do in the wet season as part of the trail is a stream ....did it once when the dam was totally empty it was incredible ! Smuts track connects with Skeleton Gorge....as does Nursery Ravine as an alternative back down to Kirstenbosch.
As a local from Cape Town we young boys found lots of gold coins and old wine bottles when we used play in the mountain today my uncle drives a top class car because of that gold coins ND ring we gave him for a 2000 rand if only we knew back then
Great video! that looks like a great spot to hike too, I will look forward to going to try out that route.
Used to hilke up there but going from orange kloof side. Thats an adventure and a challenge
Wish I knew about this place when I was holidaying in Cape Town many years ago.
Such a beautiful hiking trail and the scenery is gorgeous. If there's a waterfall, there's bound to be a source like a river, stream or dam. That water looks like it's extremely dirty or filled with iron because of the red colour. Saw another video that stated that Cape Town has a lot of underground springs and that's where their water supply comes from
The water is "Brack". Stain from the bracken roots. Perfectly drinkable and delicious.
We walked untell sea point under the city in tunals but the city closed most of it few years ago lots of buildings is built on top of old rivers ND tunals was really fun when I was when I was younger and willing to do crazy things
You are actually not allowed to swim in it either
That's blood water
That's not a beach, neither a secret. It is a reservoir dam and I've been there a few times.
We didnt fucken find that beach
O my word. Rude I would say. Pig
