I agree with everyone below: this is an AMAZING video from rub-ons, to vellum, to envelopes. I’m a compete newbie to card making so your instructions on envelopes are SO clear and easy and I don’t need yet another piece of equipment for making envelopes! Thank you. ❤🇦🇺❤️
Love everything about this video, card and envelope. I chuckled as you made the envelope as I have invested in a couple of envelope dies, an envelope punch board and other misc tools over the years and in a matter of less than a minute, you made a matching envelope that fits your card perfectly with nothing but your brain. You go girl!😂
Thank you as always Bonnie. I actually have an envelope punch board myself, but I never reach for it because I'm now quicker at making my own. But we live and we learn don't we...(boy i've had to learn! lol)
Thank you so much for this great video. I’m a Gramma who is new to cardmaking and am not the most artistic person in the world, so thank you for your great instructional videos. Many videos make instructions way too confusing. I don’t even know what they’re talking about, especially when they start whipping out numbers.🤔 Just because it was so fun, I made five envelopes this afternoon.😀 Again, thank you for making crafting possible for me.
Beautiful card! The grey card stock that frames the squares blends perfectly with the rub ons. I am attempting to adopt your “ use it” philosophy to my life. Thank you!
Wow, great video, from start to finish, I love it. ❤️💯❤️💯. That envelope is a very good technique to learn. Simple and precise, to the point. Appreciate all you share with us.
I really enjoyed this video showing how to use velum and also embossing on velum. Your card is gorgeous with the butterfly rub ons. And the matching envelope, I think your way is fabulous. Thank you Natasha 😊 x
I am amazed at how many new ideas you have. With the load of patterned paper I have, making my own envelopes is a great idea. Thank you for sharing all your crafty talent with us.
Thanks Natasha for proving that it really doesn’t matter if you can’t get the whole picture from the stencils on to fit in each square, as the card still looks fantastic ☺️
You always make your envelope folding look so easy........I will keep practicing. Just love your card Natasha, as usual you inspire me to think outside the square. Thank you.
The clear embossing on the vellum is absolutely stunning! 💕Something new to me. I love the look of rub-ons and they’re so easy to use. I usually make my own envelopes as well, but never thought of using patterned paper for the inside, but that kind of eliminates the need for a liner and creates a beautiful look. Now I know what to do with some of my patterned paper! 🥰
Having the pattern on the inside of the envelope also helps with the post office being able to read the bar code that gets put on the envelope for delivery. :) And I love 49th and Market designs!
Stunning card Natasha, especially how you did the vellum. Beautiful shiny design. Clever way to make an envelope too. Will come in handy when you have different sized cards.
Ah Tash, these look so vintage-y!! I love these rub ons and look forward to purchasing some. These make such gorgeous cards too. That vellum is beautiful, when it hits the light it has a lovely silvery sheen. Thank you for sharing your creative genius, you are so appreciated! 🧡🦋🧡
Love the clear embossed vellum and the envelope idea is brilliant. Easier than using my envelope punch board, that's for sure and a better fit. Thanks for sharing your amazing ideas.
When you have to travel via airplane, I can only imagine the activity seen in your head when you have to go through the scanner! You are so clever! Your ideas and tips are thoroughly enjoyed and put to use by me. Thank you so much for sharing!!!!
That's so funny! I was reading your message thinking it's been a longgggg time since i've been on a plane now, where is she going with this....ohhhhhh lol. Love your comment Janie!!
Gorgeous card! Love the embossed vellum & 3 little cubes on front. And the DIY mini slimline envelope is fantastic! Thank you Natasha for sharing your creativity. ❤️
Thanks so much. There are many things about this video that I need to try!! You are always inspiring and where I go when I am trying not to spend more $ on card making!! My husband thanks you too!!
I just remembered I have rub ins, one of the very first things I’d ever bought for card making. This was 4 yrs ago, hope it’s still good. It’s from Crafters Companion. Thanks for the inspiration. Great card and envelope.
I love that you have the same problem I do-potentially “happily hoarding”. That is why I’ve been making lots of cards with these rub-ones too.🙂❤️ 🦋 I have learned soooo much from you! Thank you so much!
Those rub-ons are really worth the money. I bought several sets when I first saw them. I was surprised at how big the pages were and how many pages come in each set. I’m so glad you showed these the first time, they were a great investment for me. Thanks!
I love every single video you make Natasha! I always learn so much from each video. This one is particularly awesome and I now know what I'm going to do with all that paper I have that needs to be used.
Love this card Tash. Since I saw you make envelopes in a previous video I always make them for any odd size cards I make now. Thanks for sharing. Love the clear embossing on the vellum.❤❤
Love the card! I've watched soooo many of your videos and love everyone of them. I made some slim line cards and envelopes after watching your tutorials and used my butterfly dies to cut out several places on a card matt and some glitter pad sheets to cut a second butterfly out to pop them into the card matt. Those cards will be used for a Mother's Day Tea at Church. Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful techniques and tips. Can't wait to try the rub-ons. Much love and blessings.
Beautiful card! I have some rub ons somewhere, but it's been so long since I've used them. Now I need to go thru my stash, lol. I also love the custom envelope... it looks simple enough that I could make some. Great techniques and tips! TFS 💜 🎨
just beautifu;!! love the matching envelope. I really like working with the 49th & Market rub ons, too. Thanks for providing some more ideas for how to use them. ;-)
I love the embossed vellum and the soft colors. The color and pattern for the inside of the envelope looks perfect with the card. I have four b-day cards to make for April. This will definitely be my inspiration for one or two of them. Thank you!
This card and envelope is stunning. I totally love the clear embossed vellum. I don't have rub-ons so guess I'll be using stamped and coloured images on mine.
I generally keep the pattern to the inside as I like seeing just the little sneak peak of the pattern inside. Both ways work absolutely perfect, its just personal preference isn't it :)
I am guilty of happily hoarding, too. I get so caught up looking at all the potential projects that it's all I sometimes accomplish.🙄 Very lovely card. I am really enjoying the rub-ons.❤
So beautiful! That you can just go into your “stash” and create something so pretty is amazing! Now when I go to buy something, I think of your tutorials and think about different ways to use it…saved me a few purchases!! 💝
Whoo HOO for youuuu! Fab way of using “stuff” around the artroom. Love your ideas! The envelope is a hoot when you consider the dies we all bought to do the same thing! Lol
Hi. That's a lovely card and you make it look so easy. I don't have anything like rub on stickers so I shall have to get a bit creative as I really do like those little squares and I can't tell you how much all your wonderful work is appreciated. Thank you.
What a lovely, classical card, it's shot to the top of my to do list :) I'm slightly nervous about embossing vellum but I have a ton of it from my pergamano craze of yesteryear so plenty to practise on. As others who have commented, I have a preference for classically elegant styles like this not to bear sentiments on the front and it does make cards more versatile when making a batch of them to keep for various occasions that haven't yet occurred, such as when you need a get well soon or a sympathy card and just don't have time or inspiration to start one from scratch. However there is always the risk of sending the same card for birthday and sympathy at different times to the same person - eek! I absolutely love your work, thank you very much :)
My husband keeps a correspondence diary where he describes the card sent to each recipent. He also includes the date sent and the date of acknowledgement. You could easily make up a document on the computer and include a photo of each card.
Love cubed. Great decision to not put on sentiment on the front of the card. I think handmade cards are becoming over "sentimental" on their covers. Sometimes it takes away from the gorgeous artwork or the sentiment itself seems too random and does not fit the feel or style of the card. Instagramming has made making cards have to be so photo perfect for that one cover shot that we forget that there is room inside to express the real purpose of card making. I think that is why I love your cards so much, they are beautiful without pretension.
I actually agree with you a lot on this. I find myself more and more leaning towards not putting a sentiment on the front - I think we have the inside to express the meaning of the card, and I also find that generally, it makes the cards much more versatile, and they don't get categorized so early on when a sentiment is on the front!
This is a beautiful card. I love anything using "mixed media" techniques. I know this isn't a true mixed media card but it gives the appearance of one. Here's a tidbit of info (for whatever's it's worth - lol) to adhere velum to cardstock. I've watched TH-cam videos, posted by Sara from Paper Wishes, where she demonstrates her use of a glue stick to attach velum to white cardstock (can't remember if she uses it with colored cardstock). Yes, I know there are details that don't always show on the camera but SHE claims the glue stick doesn't show and I sure don't see it when she moves the project around under the light/camera!!! It might be worth a try so the edges of the vellum don't get caught when putting the card back in the envelope. If it doesn't work, you and/or your kids can always use the glue stick for other things! TFS!
Natasha, you're really a wunderkind. You craft so easily. Cards, envelopes, butterflies... oh, my.
I agree with everyone below: this is an AMAZING video from rub-ons, to vellum, to envelopes. I’m a compete newbie to card making so your instructions on envelopes are SO clear and easy and I don’t need yet another piece of equipment for making envelopes! Thank you. ❤🇦🇺❤️
Beautiful inspiration Natasha! I needed this🦋

Love this card - the rub-on butterflies are beautiful and the embossed background is stunning 🌻🌻
Beautiful card! The grey card stock that frames the squares blends perfectly with the rub ons. I am attempting to adopt your “ use it” philosophy to my life. Thank you!
Thank you Natasha I struggled with slim line envelopes and now I get it.
OMGosh …who would’ve thought rub one could create a gorgeous card!!! LOVE your envelope as well!!! Thank you so much for sharing!! Another beauty!!❤️
Wow, great video, from start to finish, I love it. ❤️💯❤️💯. That envelope is a very good technique to learn. Simple and precise, to the point. Appreciate all you share with us.
Love the card & the envelope instructions are much appreciated 👍🏽🙋🏽♀️
What a beautiful card ! I especially love the embossing on the vellum. Thanks for the idea. 😊
A T-ruler! An absolute godsend. I’d advise all new crafters to buy one.

"Happily Hoard" Yup!! that's me for sure! Great card Tasha. Love it. :)
Thank you.
Wow, just wow!! Beautiful cards. And oh boy do I need to check if my rub ons are not too old. Great reminder, thanks 👍
At first I didn't think the background vellum showed the leaves, but it had a beautiful affect. Again, a fantastic card, Natasha!!! ❣️

I love the way you made this card. The rub on butterflies really look beautiful. I also love how simply you made the envelope. Thanks for sharing.

Lovely card and envelope. 💕
I'm glad I'm not the only one who hoards her pretties. Thanks for the inspiration to try and use them up.
Tfs Natasha ⚘️
Absolutely beautiful and simple. I love this card, and the envelope is so simple. Thank you again, Natasha.
When you have to travel via airplane, I can only imagine the activity seen in your head when you have to go through the scanner! You are so clever! Your ideas and tips are thoroughly enjoyed and put to use by me. Thank you so much for sharing!!!!

As Bonnie says, "you go girl"!!
Great demo Natasha.💜
Love this card. So classically simple and beautiful. I really enjoy watching your process.
Beautiful card. That has to be the easiest method to make envelopes that I have seen.
Very plain and simple, but it does the trick!
Love this card Tash. Since I saw you make envelopes in a previous video I always make them for any odd size cards I make now. Thanks for sharing. Love the clear embossing on the vellum.❤❤

This card and envelope is stunning. I totally love the clear embossed vellum. I don't have rub-ons so guess I'll be using stamped and coloured images on mine.
Very attractive card with ribbons! One suggestion is to have the patterned paper for the outside of the envelope , so much more festive and charming.
I generally keep the pattern to the inside as I like seeing just the little sneak peak of the pattern inside. Both ways work absolutely perfect, its just personal preference isn't it :)
Oh my goodness Natasha this is stunning. Beautiful job.
Fabulous card, I love everything you did and the envelope too ! You have some awesome ideas!.,
I really like this card. The vellum is so beautiful when embossed. Great job as always.
It's quite eye-catching - very subtle, but worth it I reckon! Thanks for watching Diana :)

Anything would work - even a stamp, or die cut etc! Enjoy creating :)
Wow! This card turned out amazingly well. That embossed vellum looks just lovely! Never thought of this technique with clear embossing powder.
Gorgeous card and envelope! 😍
Lovely card Natasha

I just take a photo of each card front and insert that I send and name them. This helps me to not send the same card or sentiment next year.
@@barbaramcmillan9243 Thank you Barbara, it's quite important and I'm starting to record them this very day while I make my Easter cards :)
Great information. Lovely using pattern on the inside of the envelope too.
Beautiful as always.Love your cards
This is extremely helpful, Natasha! Thank you so very muchxx
I like it Tash and not complicated. Thx and have a great day
