Thank you for taking me to another lovely old town surrounded by beautiful countryside. The people here are clean and take a pride in their houses and streets. They are privileged to live in such a place. I wonder where they are, we see so few of the inhabitants. Happy New Year and Hopefully you will visit many more wonderful towns and share them with us in 2021.
Thank You I! Indeed, for many reasons few people are around (especially Corona...). Also, the mood around here this year has been rather sad or uncertain. Let's hope for a better year altogether. Thank You for your kind comments, as always! I hope to continue with my passion and glad you enjoyed the walks! Wish you a Merry Christmas and a happy New Year!
It is indeed a cute little town. The narrow cobblestone lanes, some so narrow, looks like only wide enough for one person. Wish I could walk here, but watching your video is the second best thing. Thank you 😊 please stay safe 🙏
The church bells ringing at about 10:00 mins in, brought up thoughts of how many times this village must have gone through global resets as we are now. All the stone work, strong & mostly sturdy has protected & stayed a strain of life, as we continue to do the same. You are truly a great blessing ! Keep walking and we go with you !
Sher Wood, Thank You so much for your kind words as always. Indeed history is breathable and alive, especially on a quiet day like that. Special place, I truly loved it
Aloha ! (earlier) I saw you had uploaded a new walk . Each day before I come online to meet global friends, (like you), I ask myself, "what will you learn today?" I just received a small box of cards suggesting what to keep your mind on. Today was: 'Spend today seeing earth through the eyes of heaven". Then, how wonderful to land on your opening video above Collalto Sabino, spurring me on to look at things from above ! I'm thinking this a great way to position myself as we head to the new year. So many here enjoy your walking, Thank you.
Sher Wood, this your message has really touched me at heart... The connections and vibes I get from this are incredible. Please, accept my deepest gratitude for your kind words, as always. It's reading that some people can get happier that really motivates me to continue in this journey and in sharing my passion here. Today I was watching and looking at my old photos I took years ago. I used to travel whenever I had the chance to do it. It was my dream to visit all of Europe as a start. I started by going, apart from the capitals, to unknown villages far away from Italy...But lately, slowly slowly, the circle has narrowed, due to many circumstances that happened in my life. Last year, then, I was passing quite a harsh part of my life... I tried to fight but I lost, much. I truly was a wreck .. then a suggestion from a friend, the will to get out and start again, and the willingness to accept the losses I suffered, kicked me. I tried not to think much, and wandering in these towns and seeing the beauty all around was and is a medicine for many issues. I hope it'll continue to be like this. Life is beautiful. Have a nice holiday period and best of luck! Riccardo
@@StillWanderer What you say is positively a truth of life we all seem to learn while on life's journey. I am glad your heart is healing. Mine is also. Lovely we can do it together, as many on this subscribe list might seek the same renewal. Thank you for sharing your heart above and opening this channel. Genuine honesty and heart centered sharing of words are more valuable than anything.
Amazziingg...such a lovely town with beautiful scenery on the outskirts surrounding...just loved watching it...I am curious to know about the stones on the streets exactly what kind of stones are those ? Just loved it...Happy weekend and stay safe my friend.
Thank You Sudip! Glad you enjoyed it. I enjoyed Collalto too very much. Beautiful little town. Stones...I don't know but they look like lime stones. Stay safe and happy holidays.
Hi just a questi on, can you add the description as cc subtitles on your rome walk tours, like for example on the trastevere at dawn walk tour. It would be very helpful watch ing on tv. Thanks. I love your videos but on tv its much easier with the cc on to undrstand the areas
Hi Rob! Thank You for your comment! Indeed on older videos , at that Time, I didn't add the subtitles, but discovered how to make them only recently. It takes some time while doing the new videos but I planned to update also the older tours and I'll try slowly to do them!
Indeed Sharon, troubled times in the past , especially during middle ages. Mostly they were built on defensive grounds. I truly loved Collalto. Have a nice Christmas and holidays!
Love the beautiful doors!
Agreed Linda !

Nice place, very quiet; where is everyone? ;
Very nice place indeed Raymond, but good question
It always amazes me that these towns are built on a precepice. I assume it was for security reasons.
