I went to see the spot-billed ducks in Mejiro Garden again because I was worried about them.
The chicks were targeted by crows, but all 11 of them were growing up.
I was surprised that it was bigger than I expected.
The natural world is harsh, and depending on the environment and luck, it seems that a considerable number of chicks cannot grow up to adults. According to the newspaper, the chicks in Mejiro Garden can only leave about one-third to half.
This time it was taken 20 days after birth. The number of birds has increased from 12 to 11, but there is only one.
It will take more time to fledge, but I want as many chicks as possible to fledge.

当方も近所の用水路で「カルガモ親子」に遭遇、撮影しています！
カルガモ親子を撮影出来たのは初めてですが「野鳥観察」が大好きです😄
実は「カルガモ親子」を撮影出来たあとに「与野公園」へ春バラの撮影に出掛けています！

与野のバラ園には同じような時に行っていたのですね。
今年初めて行ったバラ園ですが、見ごたえ十分なバラの量に
圧倒されました。
カルガモもかわいいですね。人間を怖がらないのか近くで撮影できますものね。
いろいろな野鳥の映像、動物相手は思い通りに撮影できないので苦労して撮影したのではないかしらと想像しました。
今後ともよろしくお願いいたします
