Should be proud Patrick Walters for the amazing feat for the win with all smallies and be very proud of your record 105 pounds of smallmouth. Hopefully you and all the rest of our Elite anglers will return so you can defend your title and also break your own weight record. Our St Lawrence river fishery is a truly special place that every angler who loves to fish would enjoy. All the people in the area are the best for hospitality you will ever find anywhere and the beauty itself surrounding all our 1000 islands is a destination anyone would truly love to visit. Hope all you get a chance to see what I speak. It's even more special every year the Elite anglers come to visit!!
Congratulations on the win but no way would you have caught that much weight of it wasn’t for FFS big fan of live but this was the most boring thing I’ve tried to watch so I switched to golf FFS takes the fish out of fishing
If you truly think this, I almost guarantee you never have been know for your fishing abilities 😂 FFS doesn’t mean jack if you don’t know how to catch them already. Patrick is an absolute hammer knocker, FFS or not.
Congrats to Patrick Walters as it is super competitive and tough to win at this level for sure. My personal opinion is that the ‘hammers’ in the sport don’t need FFS to win, and it would be better television to not have to watch guys staring at a screen during the entire event. So…let’s have the elite bass tournaments let them use FFS in practice, then not allow for it during the tournament. In this scenario, the best all around bass fisherman would still do well over the course of the season.
@@OutdoorsmenLee I agree. I’ve ice fished enough to know that’s a fact. The point is that FFS tournaments are not must see TV when most anglers are just staring at a screen. I fished on Lake St. Clair a couple of weeks ago and almost all the tournament guys around me weren’t even making a cast until they saw something on the screen (and they were just glued to the screen the entire time). FFS takes most of the skill out of fishing, and I’d like to see guys get back to fishing instead of catching. Just my opinion.
Another bass tournament with record weights won with FFS. Let’s teach the world how to exploit our natural resources to the point of extinction, at the benefit of high margins for tech companies. Come on man, be an outdoorsman cut the damn electronics off and go fishing, give em a chance! @Randyblaukat

Excellent Excellent Excellent fishing. Well done and congratulations.
What’s his rod and reel?
the reel is a Daiwa tatula mq lt in a 4000 size, and the rid looks like a Daiwa tatula elite probably medium light or medium

FFS takes the fish out of fishing
He relied on FFS to catch fish, no skill required. This is B.S., like shooting fish in a barrel.

FFS doesn't guarantee a catch though. Come ice fish in mn and you will find schools of fish that won't bite at all.

@@TaylorBond555 if you already know how to catch them, why do you need to glue the eyes to FFS?
