Yeah then they proceed to treat him like crap this entire season. All the bad things that happened this season linked back to Cleo dumping him. He wouldn't have grown close to Charlotte thus she wouldn't have ever followed him to Mako the night of the Full Moon. Rikki fucked with his potion he found. Emma and Rikki nearly got him arrested, they nearly exposed themselves to Nate and he and Zane saved them. They should be very thankful he never gave up on them.

I'm 22 and I'm not going to judge myself for watching this at any age. I see this show as an art. Jonathan Shiff and the crew have been creating this masterpiece with such love and passion for that. And I'm really thankful for their sense of beauty and aesthetic.
It needs a huge talent and imagination to film like that. Those tails, moon pool, Mako, underwater scenes, music, the mermaids theory and actually every screen view are aesthetically gorgeous.
