  • Huge thanks to every one that made it out to our first organized group meet. Everything went great until i broke the truck!
Edit- Finally found out what broke. Looks like i will be replacing my passenger side bearing, a tie rod, steering pump, and steering rack for a total of $4000 with labor. These trucks just dont seem to take hits like they used to.

Bought a ‘16 TSS Tacoma a year and a half ago. It’s not a 4x4 but is my 1st taco. Lovin’ every minute of it. Have wanted one since I was 16 and I’m 36 now so yeah a little overdue. Found your channel with this video and subbed as soon as video finished. Bad ass trail and bad ass tacos. Hope the repair wasn’t too bad. ✌️

I ordered a Tacoma for a 15 year expedition trip all over Vancouver island and Northern Canada.
I will use my dirt bike days and dune buggie experience to avoid breaking my vehicle that will have a T-59 Tufport on it's back and an expedition Telescoping tiny trailer.

There is an overland road from around North Bend to Ellensburg, WA and another road from Ellensburg to Malaga, WA.
We’ve got some friends who will go with us in their 19 Tacoma TRD Off Road 5’ bed. Our Tacoma TRD Off Road is a 23 6’ bed.
Both of our trucks are double cabs with the Premium and Technology pkgs.
I’m sure that the front cameras will come in handy for our trip.
Once we get to Ellensburg they’ll probably come back to Wenatchee and we will meet another friend there and take the road in North Bend.
My other friend has a 23 as well, but he doesn’t have the Premium pkg so he doesn’t have a front camera.
    It’ll be a fun day

Just got my 2018 Hilux Diesel delivered today. I liked and subscribed. Hoping to travel up there someday and try some of those trails. It will be interesting to see how the cousin of the Tacoma holds up to them. My FJ 60 with a Vortec V8 surely could hold its own, but it is anything but stock with a 5" lift and 35's, plus center diff lock and air lockers front and rear. I will be doing some mods to my Hilux after a while. Not too many of those Tacomas looked very "stock", but maybe you were focused on the more modified rigs and the oldie but sturdy #69 ?

All the expensive, ridiculous, doo-dads on the other trucks and the dude with the 1st gen brings it home. Go #69 !!!! The rest of these guys are all for show.

That is a 2nd Gen.. Also I think the real winners here are the stock guys pretty much doing everything the modified guys did.

@@TjEvo1 that's hilarious! $10k plus less in extras and went to the same place did the same thing, only difference is their trucks are still covered by warranty.

Look likes your on roads. Those rocks were viscous but the rest looked like smooth sailing.

I'd like to go drive the mountain roads in Colorado. I've had built jeeps for years and been to tellico Tennessee many times and I live by the badlands in Attica Indiana.

Tacomaholic damage to the rig? How about damage to the trail for these fucks driving off the trails.... I don’t know about you, but they close trails in Colorado for people that don’t stay on the beaten path....

Alan Wright They do the same in Washington too and it's the exact reason why it's so hard to find trails here now. They keep closing good spots down

I literally got a 2018 taco off road yesterday and argued with them to get me the predator bar as a throw in. I didn't like the bar that is on it now. Now I see this video of one getting ripped to pieces lol

I can already tell just by the design of that predator step. That it's a very flimsy construction.
