Great video Paul, lovely down that area. Just posted to Jason on DVA that I hope they sort the empty hotels etc out down that end. The buildings are to nice to let go derelict. Also great news that gynn square up to bispham has received conservation status. Just hope they start renovating that area now, thanks again mate.

The sea is fabulous in all conditions, must admit, I enjoy the sea when it’s rough and angry, just listening to the waves crashing against the side, amazing, many thanks also Pete, take care.

Hi just watched this video and u showed amber banks care home I worked there for yeads the owners then sold it to a group and then they went bust couple of years later
Hi Ian, many thanks for watching the video and also sharing that information, what a huge building as well, and such a-shame it went bust.. I would off thought that’s the perfect location for a care home, hopefully someone gets it and opens the doors again, such a lovely area as well, again many thanks and take care to, all the best.

The care home closing down is a strange one, on the flipside it is like a midwife being made redundant.
Hi Scott, that’s true and yeah such a lovely building to, I heard they sold and the new owners went bankrupt.. so just left as it is for the time being.. not the best, hope all is well with you?

This area is so close to Blackpool, but so different, so quiet and calming. Particularly liked the little garden areas at the rear of the Solarium....shame some are closed off....I wonder why....🤔

Hi Linda, many thanks for your kind comment and watching the video, yes its a stones throw away from the Town Centre but its like a different world, I met one Lady thier who was sat on the benches and got talking to her, very well spoken and she was from Lytham St Anne's, cut a long story short, she said she visit's that park every week and mentioned its so relaxing and quite, which I could well imagine. I believe they have sectioned a small part off as they are working on a area, what with the new plant beds etc, so when its open it will be an amazing little feature, again many thanks and take care, all the best Paul
Good video.Shame to see some nice properties boarded up but there is a lot of development going on in Blackpool so who knows what will happen to these properties.Well done.
Many thanks Edward, and yes your right, lots of things are getting going and under development now, the Buildings we filmed we amazing, especially that care home which went bust, hopefully new owners will reopen it in some form or another as the area was very nice, so next time when I'm up thier I'll check it out, again all the very best Paul
Hi Paul great video shame about empty hotels in Blackpool I just wish the council would do something or someone buys these hotels even on Albert road 4 empty hotels on Albert road hopefully they will be buyer out there Blackpool has got a bright future I'm looking forward to seeing the changes in Blackpool and the development in Blackpool will be great when it is done really enjoyed the video thanks Paul the blackpool lads take care from Keith 😊😊

It's a shame to see, but it would also be a shame if these buildings were to be used to house people here illegally. I think Blackpool has suffered enough over the past three years with mysterious hotel fires, and "Ne'er-do-well".
Hi Betty, yes we have had a lot of fires in houses and hotels latley(derelict) which isn’t good and they seem to be just boarded up and left, hopefully things changed. all the best.

@TheBlackpoolLads there is & will b more accommodation for substantial # of new works. Seen today another gov department building appoved by BLP Council at the side of North Station
