No good way too light loose a heap of good fish and lures that way. Some of the boys use 30lb but I think that's over killl but dam they catch em. I use 12lb and still get rubbed off... Check your leader after every fish/snag if it’s chaffed snip off damaged section re tie. 6 pound a bit light for skinny water Id be running 10-12 pound if you hook a proper one you’ll actually be in with a shot.

Check your bail arm and eyes on your rod for any chips or edges that could be chaffing the line. Great video!
