Bushido hands down. For a beginner I always recommend starting out with lighter weight knucklerollers because the movement is going to feel really weird starting out when you're building muscle memory. Lighter weights are going to be easier and kinder to you in the long run, and as you start to get the hang of things you can then start looking at heavier rollers. The Bushido is lighter and will be more accessible than the OG Slim. I also personally find the overall shape and ergonomics of the Bushido superior in every way, but that's just me and others may disagree.
Love mine, too--right size, right weight, and the texture from the machining and the coating is terrific. I've got a couple more coming because I can't imagine ever not having one with me. ETA: I have the black with rainbow rings, and I have white with rainbow, white with black, and alabaster with silver on the way. I like these--can you tell? :)
Haha that's fantastic! They are wonderful and yeah I particularly love the ceramic coating (especially given my ceramics background). I really love all of ZGRT's rollers - absolute best in the business. Which is your favourite finish for the Bushido?
After some use, do u think it has the potential to knock out the Ristretto for top roller?? Absolutely loving mine so far. The finish is is just something else. Going to have grab an alabaster just cause
Tbh I'm not sure, at the moment I would still say the Ristretto just has a bit better control for me. But I do love the aesthetics and finish of these more, particularly the ceramic coating. ZGRT keep putting out such great rollers, it's getting more and more difficult to pick a favourite - but I would still say, for me personally, Ristretto is still the best.
