The story of the bridge: Si-o-Seh (Siosepol) is the most famous of the bridges in Isfahan. It is composed of a series of 33 arches and was ordered in 1602 by Shah Abbas I. The bridge is built on pontoons. It was initially known as the Allahverdi Khan Bridge, named after the person who was responsible for its construction. The upper part is framed between high walls, which provide shelter from the wind, as well as protection for travelers who can walk along the alleys in both sides to avoid car traffic. The bridge itself has a length of 295 meters and a width of 13,75 meters. The thirty - four pillars on which it is built are 3,49 meters thick and the arches are 5,57 meters wide. The southern side of the bridge, the place where the waters of the Zayandeh River pass faster, has additional arches. Ostatnio ostrzeliwali inny pobliski kraj - Izrael a produkowane przez nich drony (Shahed) zabijają niewinną ludność cywilną w Ukrainie. Jeden z tych obiektów wystrzelony przez Rosjan wleciał nawet na teren mojego kraju. Pozdrawiam z przyfrontowego państwa - Polski.
